I hope this is highly reliable because there probably aren't mechanics in the wild who yet know how to service it. It is quite a feat of engineering.
So it's a big ass alternator in between the engine block and gearbox using the flywheel surrounded by magnets. I know it's much more than that and they're applying some of their F1 tech into this to harvest more energy from the ICE unit.
