Gewicht 4,5 Tonnen, Verbrauch 28-38 Liter / 100 km. Mercedes-Benz G4, according to Reinhard Frank "Personenwagen der Wehrmacht" were built from 1933-1939 72 vehicles with different engines (8 cyl. 5. 0 ltr 100 hp; 5. 3 ltr 115 hp; 5. 4 ltr 110 hp) were built. Hi from Russia. A great car in brilliant condition. It's a pity that history made these cars not a symbol of offroad trips, but of WWII.

I suspect this is not an original g4...the same museum also has a g4 van version,of which only one was built and none survive....a replica g4 tourer and 2 replica Van's were offered at auction some years ago and were found to be replicas...I'm suspecting this is possibly why it dosent sound like a mercedes engine under the hood!!!

I think the engine is not original. turbo diesel is, I hear the turbine. but it is a beauty

Solo queda uno totalmemte original y está en España en el museo de la Guardia Real en el Pardo (Madrid) Fue un regalo de Hitler a Franco Aunque ha otros dos modelos uno en USA y otro en Alemania pero no todas sus piezas son originales

Great piece of history!!! But hitler had 100's of cars ordered and used!!! PS. I've seen this car at the CM mesum
