Oil extractor pump: 2 comments: The Mercedes shop in The Woodlands, TX used one on my GLC. I did one in-house oil change. I did the rest of the oil changes myself. One test, I used the pump extractor. Then I went to the drain plug. I think it as less than an ounce of oil that was left behind.

I changed my oil by myself 1st time for any car, literally followed these instructions to the tee & finished in a hr. The 27mm screw for the oil filter gave me little problem and opening the hood oil cap while draining helps. Great video👌

good video, but consider using a oil extractor pump (quite cheap online next time via dipstick instead of removing the sump bolt, its quicker and cleaner :)

@@TheDurbinCompound no lie I was almost thinking I was draining my transmission due to the unexpected shape my C300 differs from your sump pan I was shocked cause I was looking for the same shape as yours I'm assuming maybe Mercedes uses what's on hand vs engine? 😅 or is that why your C300 is a W205 and mine is not? I just know mine was made in Alabama lmao

Say hypothetically, When you do your own Service A or B but later have a possible issue down the road that say is covered under warranty through the dealer, will they honor the warranty still or give you crap and void it since you did your own service prior?? Thanks!
