Hi does the kit you sell work with the screen or would I have to buy a different kit for that ?

Greetings! I have the complete I need to install and upgrade my 2018 GLC that came with OEM 3 colour lighting from the manufactory. Can you advise on how to do that connection to synchronize it with the factory one?

what you can say in this video what i had problem with, with this ali express installation ambient light is how to connect the wires via the door. tell like it dont matter what slots you plug them in with just so they match on the other sider to connect with the main module, and show how you did the wires. i didnt know how to flip and lock the pink switch for the wires so had to take it for a shop. 100 usd* cost. thats the hard part rest is easy :) but overall great video

Hi! I just bought a 2019 A220. I thought it had ambient lighting but it doesn’t😞 do you think it’s a good idea to have some one install a kit? Or do I take the risk of messing something up on my car? If not is the a lighting kit that you recommend for the A220? Thanks in advance 😊

You can always add ambient lighting at a reputable place. A proper garage should know what to do and there shouldn’t be any risk of any damage.

Hi, you can help me to install led light for back seat for 2020 w205, i bought the kit but i can not connect it to the original installation, i have the original 64 colors, should i use a specefic plug ?

Hi, if the connector is different then its not made to fit factory system. The best thing would be to get in-touch with the seller and as them for guidance, as we don't know what you got. Regards

How many footwell lights come with the kit? Only 2 front lamps? What can I do for the rear footlight to have 64 also there?

Just order and extra pair of foot-well lights and wire them to the back.

If you're talking about the module that gets the signal from the car CAN BUS thats connected at the door.

I have the 3 colour system. Does this kit plug and play into the existing wiring so that it's controlled by the middle screen or is this a bolt on aftermarket kit that is separate from the OEM system?

Question - I see this car had the stock 3 color ambient lights which is what I have. When you upgrade to 64, what happens with the overhead ambient lights by the map lights? Do they remain 3 colors or do they get upgraded as well?

You can replace the over head panel to match the rest. It’s sold separate. If you don’t then you’ll only have 3 colours

My car has 3 original factory color.Do ı need to remove original harness from doors,center console or just keep original harness at same position

Remove the original harness from center console as you need to fit the new wiring in. In terms best to remove them but you can leave them in place

Hello good job 🤗👍 I hef one problem when I close the doors the licht stay 1min 30. I setup 15 sec but don't work I cloos the door en the licht goes out after 1min30 ist to long what is the problem you think ? Thank you 🤗👍🤗👍

Hello Meert; what kit did you use and how have you wired the main controlled module? ... 1min 30 suggests that the lights are only going out when vehicle electronics are put to sleep. But you should be able to change it to go out with Terminal 15. Regards

Just upgrade the cable - the new cable will have LEDs on the end already. Disconnect the original led and connect the new wire led

my friend ran into a problem on his install since im in another country but hes basically completed the whole install but all his doors are lets say blue but the driver door is a total opposite colour any idea what needs to be done in the simplest of fixes

Sounds like he got the driver side door wiring pins mixed up, double check your wiring. Regards

@@KHANPerformance thank you for your reply The wiring pins got set up correctly but its just not calibrating to the correct sequence as the others, ill tell him try to test it all out again and keep going through it but if it doesnt work what can you advise me on to tell him Thanks in advance

@@KHANPerformance so we found out the problem with the wiring he or his friend had installed the driver side wiring inside the door cable in correctly which needed to be flipped over so it was just plugged in wrongly with a negative power

Hello, I have the same problem, the colors of the left rear door and the driver's door are not the same color.

Das Auto hat doch von Werk aus 3 Farben, wieso musst du die Kabel durch die Tür bis zur Mittelkonsole verlegen? Bei mir musste ich nur die Kabel tauschen mit den LED‘s an den Originalen steckern 5:55

denn die Ersatz-LEDs sind in diesem Bausatz viel größer und heller und verfügen über eigene Verkabelungen. Jedes Set ist anders.

If your car comes with the standard 3 colours from factory then you don’t need coding for this. If your car doesn’t come with any ambient lighting then you’ll need coding and you need to have access to Mercedes’ diagnostics tool in order to do that.
