On my wife's car, it didn't have sensors when we got it. I ordered sensors from ebay for less that $50. I used my tire machine to press the tire down on the area next to the sensor and installed them. I put the wheels back on and just reset the TPS monitor system and it worked. This car doesn't display the tire pressure, though. It just lets you know when to check the tire pressure. Which it started doung this on the right rear. Sometimes when driveing, as I park it, the check tire correct pressure notification comes on as I turn the car off. So I guess the battery is going dead already. It's only been a couple years since I put them on.

So when you got the car, did it have warning messages for low tyre pressure? Interesting that you didn’t need to program the sensors into the system, good work though 👍 My sensors were the original ones on a 2018 car, so it looks like they lasted about 6yrs. Cheers, Phil

It had the flat tire symbol on the dash, because it didn't have sensors. For some reason, I have not been able to reply directly to your reply. I kept getting an error message.

ha ha! Yes, tell me about it! TPMS, run flat tyres, lane departure warnings, that weird auto braking thing, flashing blind spot mirror lights, I could go on!
