Hey there, you previously mentioned heat from the engine, causing the cabin to heat up even in winter. There is a known fault in the air conditioning flaps in the 3 way climate control. I had the problem and thought the transmission was overheating

@@BurritoSenor Not yet, I had an old neighbour with a 10 plate one in a sage green colour that was lovely, very understated but with all that power, I should have made him an offer. Prices still £15K-ish here in the UK for a quality used example which is a bit too much for me currently, so sticking to 6 cylinders for now. How's your R32?

@@harveyhalloway I have also seen a couple for around 12k still fairly expensive when you consider the e63 of the same generation could be had for around 16k (wouldn't be mint thought)

@@BurritoSenor You'll have the same 250PS engine as me, albeit with a more raucous exhaust note probably, you got DSG or manual? My A3 3.2 is DSG, bought it with 73K, now 105K, she is cherished.

What all cars did you raced? How does it do against the 2018 gt. Mustang?

Raced a 2020 6 speed gt in my 2009 cls550 lost by a car but kept up with him til 80mph 👍🏻

I've owned a e550 5.5 and just did a simple muffler delete, even a simple muffler delete was just on point 👌and did not sound like a rice.

@@power7785 yup I straight piped my e550 about 6 months ago. I cut off the mufflers and resonators and this thing really growls now

How do you turn off traction control? I have the E500 Cabriolet but I can’t find a way to turn it off.

There is the traction control button in between the two air vents on the dash, but you can’t turn it off fully😒

You have to do it through your digital dash

I never dared to drift in my E500. I honestly think it will be hard to save it ones it goes sideways. By the way I raced a M4 one time and it was really close.

Willie slack It can definitely compete with an M4. But the M4 is lighter and has more power so it’s going to be slightly faster. However the Bi-Turbo V8 has huge potential and if you give it just 500hp it will eat the M4 alive I’m sure. But keep in mind that the E-Coupe is not very good in the corners. I drift in my 2007 E550 all the time, in the rain and when I have a lot of space with no other cars on the road.

Your E500 is a 5.0 liter unless you did engine swap. E550 is also a 5.4 liter My clk55 was a 5.4liter supercharged
