Let's not forget the C63 competes with the M3 not the M5. It did pretty well to be honest. But I would take the M5 any day, I love that V10 beast!

Lets not forget that the C63 has the same engine as the E63 with only power restriction. In the M3 the M5 engine was downsized by both cylinders, engine volume so basicly the entire engine was stripped. You like to forget what you need to remember and remember what you need to forget.

Or maybe the other reason why the m5 lost is because he didn't activate the M mode. I heard if you hit the m button it switches the car on to 500hp mode. You can deactivate the m mode, which will bring the power down to 400hp. Correct, me if im wrong!

m5 is a great car and the M button you need to have it set with traction control off to get full 500hp, there is 8 settings for the gearbox to set up also on M mode , I had the m5 and was a fantastic car but terrible to drive around town, the gear box set up and dcs is horrible in normal driving! also very unreliable, far too many electronics! , I now have a 2012 c63 and its night and day to drive! not as quick as the m5 but a far better car

Over time the e60 will become more even appreciated, and remembered as one of the best.

@@chrismichael9045 no that era of M5 wasn’t as reliable as the E39, I’ve owned both. The oil consumption is also ridiculous. I settled on a W04 C63 all-though I prefer the M60 styling & handling.

c63 engine is detuned from the factory,but even so its much better to drive around town than the high reving bmw v10

someone mentioned if u put headers and tune the m5 it'll beat or win over the c63??? how about a 2004 S55 AMG with just a pulley and a tune minus the headers and the e60 m5 will get beat imo ,I'm a huge fan of the e60 m5 with the v10 naturally aspirated motor , alot dont know how well the c63,e55 and s55 are monsters with just pulley upgrade and tune minus headers ,anything could be made faster all just depends on what knowledge u know on any car and what to do to power up it and of course a good driver

@@multiblade04 i bought the car brand new in 2006 for 136k which i think your house didn't cost that much back then. so if i can pay 140k for a car, i can definitely afford paying 4k for rod bearings ;) plus my car has 56k miles on it. so I'm not too worried now.

rocky diesel firstly that 140k car is worth 10k now says a lot about a product that can’t hold its value (ie it’s shit built and people know it) and I live in Vancouver Canada probably one of the most expensive places in the world for housing LMAO. This ain’t no cheap Texas Detroit or some ghetto city in the states. You wish you could afford to live here😂 56k miles is super high mileage for this car.. that’s when massive engine and transmission failure occurs. 56k on a e60 m5 is like 200k+~ on a c63. I’ve seen many e60 m5 go out or need extensive repair at the 50k mile mark. They are shit built fanboy. Good luck on your car bud. There’s a reason there’s so many on Craigslist here for dirt cheap cause it’s a shit car. Not to mention over half the listings are people selling this car with blown motor or transmission or both. It’s not a coincidence this car has a horrible reputation. Imagine paying 140k for a car that guaranteed even with crazy maintenance, can’t last 100k miles without a complete engine/transmission rebuild or swap. Find me a e60 m5 w over 100k w orig trans engine and running fine; that’s right it doesn’t exist

rocky diesel I know of many c63 that have hit over 200k miles without any major repair whereas I don’t know a single m5 with over 100k that is running good. Mercedes is not even known for great reliability and even their amg models last twice as long as M models? I’ll take the more reliable car anyday. Not to mention the c63 used resell value is almost double a m5 on any used marketplace in my area, and the m5 cost heaps more new 🤯😂 I legit see people selling these cars for 5-10k. V10 for 5-10k what’s the catch you’d think 😂 cause the dude knows it cost 10k to keep running a year so the car ain’t worth shit.

+Daniel Sadjadian With the C63 it's like a fucking explosion when it's revved to 4-5k, like a bomb went off, it's insane!!! Even a low popping rev to like 2-2.5k rpm it's like guttural smaller explosions, just immense. Whereas on the M5 people hear that and think oh what's that/!??! Then they see the M5 and go ...oh, it's a bmw sedan, that's weird? lol. Just sayin...
