Is there a way I could please send you a 1990 Cadillac Brouham radio to add Bluetooth? I have been trying all over to find someone who works on “modern” radios.

Aw man that sucks but very nice of the customer. Didn't know these models were so delicate. Well if I ever get an aftermarket head unit I know who to send Becker to, if you will want to give it a second try lol Thanks!

Hello! Great job! Sorry for a possibly stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. With your processing - the stereo signal will not be saved, did I understand correctly? Because I saw an article where the BE1150 (i know it may be different from BE 2010) was modified in a similar way, the AM band board was removed, a bluetooth board and a bluetooth power board were soldered in its place. The signal to the left and right channels was sent through 2.2 mf capacitors from the legs of the preamplifier tda7310. But to remove the mono effect, the track that united the two channels into 1 for mono in the AM was cut.

sooo, with the Becker Classic with volume knob (be1150 for example), you indeed cut the AM audio signal traces going into the mixer chip, and you can inject your sound in there I plan on releasing a video detailing that model exactly if I haven't done so yet with the BE2010, with AM selected, you can only inject a mono signal into its mixer chip so - in this case I use the CSRA64215 bluetooth chip which has the option to mix left and right into one channel digitally

@@Darieee Thanx for answer! So, in BE 2010, there is no way to install stereo bluetooth instead of AM?

I'm afraid not, that mixer IC has a datasheet available for it .. maybe you can figure out a way .. but keep in mind, you can't use the casette, as that usually times out in 30 minutes and has to be reselected and relies on the tape mech belts being ok

@@DarieeeDo you mean connecting a bluetooth module instead of a cassette drive, or just connecting to it? I have seen this type of connection, this method uses an empty cassette without a tape to "fool" the tape mechanism and get power to the bluetooth board.

that emthod often time times out - because a lot of radios will stop spinning a tape after 30m also - if the belt breaks inside the radio, it will think your tape is stuck, and also not work so - very very inelegant of a solution that is
