Things were generally just more elegant back then since that was more of a priority instead of being purely utilitarian the way it is now. I wish I was around when cars like this ruled the road

Those cars are awesome anybody would love to ride around and them right now today and I cannot remember ever seeing anything that Grande beautiful cars they look even better than a Rolls-Royce back in that period of time in my opinion

I use a page called "invideo", but to use the voice you have to select KZread Explainer, create a 1 minute video of any topic and there you select the voice, I use the "clear American voice", but there are more options there, when The video is already created, you have to go to "edit/edit script" and there you can put your personalized text, save the changes, export and that's it, I know it's a little difficult, but I hope it helps you. 🙂

Impressive in 1930, but a bit long in the tooth by 1940. If you look at Detroit creations of the same era, this thing looks antiquated.

Compared to the Czech Tatra aircooled V8 cars these Mercedes were outdated!

We are not goldfish, we can remember the model we are watching . You don’t need to to keep on saying Mercedes Benz 770 constantly. Also the word is LUXURY, not LUG ZYOUR EE. There is no G in the word.

Without the context, it doesn’t sound right. These cars would have never been build without the NASIs who commissioned them!

nice , to heap so much prize on them. But I always had the feeling that they could not touch Packard, Cadillac and perhaps Lincoln, Imperial, Pierce Arrow, Peerless etc. And the germans knew it all too well....

Sorry, you are not correct. Americans have created their own Porsch(E) pronounciation, and truly think they are speaking German. This is absolutely inexistant in German. In German the pronunciation is “ pohsh” no vowel sound at the end. And the r sound is not the same as in English. It sounds closer to an English h sound.

He knew the German language backwards and forwards. He even had to teach two Harvard University PHD English professors' English grammar. My father always told the word for Porsche was always pronounce Porsch(E). He taught me that all letters in German are pronounced. As for your American creation, it is slang that came out of California in the 1970's, just the slang term for BMW is Bimmer, or Beamer. It is ang therefore not a proper pronunciation of the word Porsche.

It’s pronounced 770 ! And the the nazi history will always follow these cars .

The design of 770 is heavy and not beautiful compared to Italian, French or American luxury brands of the time. It lacks the designer flair and subtle elegance of competitors' models.

so, the 7,7 liter making 150 Hp and the 7,7x8 liter is making 250 Hp without the compressor? I dont get it. I guess it still 7,7 liter and not 7,7x8 liters as this film supposes.
