Hello I have w220 s500 2005 and can not find the transmission oil top up,it’s not on the back of the engine,also it’s not on the right side engine like on this wideo,any idea?The car it’s right hand drive if this helps

I have the same problem, so I guess the only way is fill it is by pumping up the transmission fluid from the bottom!

@@musicplay32 Hi Yes we have transmission 722.9 so the oil need to be drained and filled from the pan drain

very helpful, but I have a 2001 s430 ..lol.. can i buy a dipstick and check the back or do i have to go underneath? Also I have a code P0715 - Transmission Input/Turbine Speed Sensor - transmission is in limp mode as well it shifts hard. I can't find the location for the input/turbine speed sensor, do you have a idea, it happens to a lot of benz vehicle and do you have to reset or reprogram it?

Hello COMEDIAN SENATOR_P, In regards to your code P0715, have you tried replacing your transmission 13-Pin Connector Adapter Plug? Sometimes that gets filled with transmission fluid and can cause problems. It's $15 dollars on Amazon and it might fix your issue. If not, then it's most likely your conductor plate inside of your transmission. Check with a local certified Mercedes mechanic to confirm. I hope this helps. It's hardly a secret when it's right there and it is fitted with a big red handle on it, in case your eyesight is poor.....

I have an 06 S500 and I know that car inside out. That is the only reason I knew that service tube is made up. Best April fools ever. I wish we could see videos of people trying to find it. lol

Yes that is the 722.6 that came on some 500s

There is NO tranny dipstick tube on the 7 speed W220 as you indicate. It would not be much of a secret with that long red handle protruding well up into the engine room. There is more to this than you know ! THIS is the trouble with KZread. LOTS of misinformation.
