@@ergonaut940 oh I do too. I just live in a weird neighborhood. I don't think it wouldn't be too big of a deal if I have a benz, but an easily identifiable amg would make me stand out too much.

Enjoyed watching the Video Review. A very Impressive Saloon with a nice Interior

I'm stuck on my wife's 2020 c43 with the exhaust option. It's also a cabriolet which we love in Florida and since I am still a child, I love the popping of the V6. Blessings to all!

It may have a lot of power but it's still a CLA, £60k is too much money for this car.

Yeah for that price I'm getting a V8 in the C63. While this isnfast, I would want a rwd based platform like the C63

Word to the wise; even with the adaptive dampers, this thing rides pretty harsh on UK roads. Unfortunately the price can’t justify this car. £60k is used F90 M5 territory

Lovely Jubbly video, but Mercedes need to get the basics right first, door sounds like Dacia, and those fins will go missing quite easily I'm sure.

Pillarless doors any car with them sounds like that its the glass shaking when been slammed

@Ahmed Tupajic Obviously not, but 60k with a couple of options is ludicrous. This would be a more attractive proposition at £50k, max. My 2017 CLA 45 shooting brake is worth around 30k today. It's not half the car or performance so I'm not tempted to upgrade at 60k until depreciation has worked its magic on some of these newer gen examples.

Deadly Dizzle how long you think? Been waiting for over a year for this and it’s still 58k used same price as a c63s. Waiting for 45-50k depreciation. It’s 60k brand new so it’s held value so well. But not good for me!

Uk potholed roads are a nightmare when you drive these low profile tyre cars ! You soon have to replace side wall bulging tyres …… not cheap

How is it so cheaps ? you said premium package etc . I ordered mine to estonia , with all the extra stuff and packages ( not including some little holders nets etc) And i payed 80k euros so 72k pounds. Thats crazy price diffrence.

I’d rather have a e class amg for that money it doesn’t make sense to get a cla amg over an e class amg like a e53. For that money I’d even rather get the E400D which is around 40 to 50k

It’s a very nice exterior but 60k is far too much. Just spend a bit more and buy an s class. If sports is your thing go buy either AMG e class or m5

Implying that people want to go for a much bigger car that costs a good bit more? The CLA is not huge but it’s a decent sized car, the difference to an E class or 5 series is unprecedented. Maybe 60k is the right budget for some people and want to buy a small saloon...

Don't be fooled by things like that. Years ago they used to say the doors and boot are heavy when you shut them so it must be good quality. You don't really know the weight of either, you only know what the manufacturer allows you to 'feel' through the stiffness of the springs and hydraulic jacks that are used to support them. You need to live with it and examine it to know what the quality is like.

@@gottliebdee263 Definitely not! It's not the weight of the door that we're talking about... Bottom line: behind attractive looking people are being fooled by economy scale decided by the brand. I don't want to go any further but just for example some years ago in a car such this is from a premium brand there wasn't any metal at the sight inside the cabin...

@@CrystalPalace1861 So what. How does the sight of metal in the cabin dictate what the quality is? Don't talk rubbish. I know exactly what you're trying to say about but it means nothing. It gives the owner the perception of quality and not a lot more. (By the way, over a combined distance exceeding 250,000 miles I'm an ex W123, 126, 140, 204 and 218 driver). Quality would be the thickness and purity of the body panels and paint, how well the production and paint process are managed. I'm going to suggest that you know absolutely none of that and if my statement is true then you are PERCEIVING what you say based on what sound the door makes, through a mic on the internet. They could damp down the sound when it closes with a thicker rubber seal but it doesn't mean the quality is any better.

60k for a bunch of metal and plastic!! This must be one of the worst investments anyone can make on earth!! Buy today at 60k, next year it’ll be worth 45k, the year after 30k, and so on until it’ll be worthless!

Ahmed Tupajic I agree with you. My point is: unless you’ve plenty of disposable cash, buying a high value vehicle is very expensive. If you’re willing to accept high levels of depreciation, then why not, go for it!

Crazy price and people wonder why Mercedes don’t hold their value, I remember when it was basically the 2 Japanese brand doing these high-performance subcompact sedan AWD models (Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX), anyway, if you want to buy these overpriced subcompact German luxury high-performance models, then don’t complain about anything, you knew what you were buying

@@barrytheiguana675 I'll pay £65K for a 17 plate v10 plus Audi. I think you can get a c63s amg on a 67 plate for £37K. There are tons of options around £20k too

Another bloody video that plays sodding music when the car starts up and they cut to the exhaust or when it drives by! I think many others will agree, we're watching a video about an amg not an electric kia so we want uninterrupted car sound from the vehicle. 👎

For the price, you could get something much better. You're paying for performance here, not quality. The interior is cheaply made like an entry-level A-class and for £50 k + that's not acceptable. I would rather spend that £50 k on something higher in quality, more reliable, that rides better and is more well made such as an e class coupe amg or a BMW m440i, etc. Seriously, Mercedes should give this model a much-improved interior for that price with a deficiency of plastic materials. Smart people would not buy this car.

"I miss the V8..." How on earth are you missing V8 in transverse engine platform? Was ever XC90 as sporty as cla amg? HOW ON EARTH you even imagine having that wide engine ahead of front wheels? This guy knows how to perform on video, doesn't know how cars work.

I like the way the standard CLA looks, but imo the AMG versions look a bit cheap and tacky on the rear. Not really suiting the car. But it's a great car to drive
