Some time in 1966 I had an opportunity to visit a remote village in Bihar. There was no electricity in that village. On some occasion this song was played on a gramophone record with the help of battery. A loudspeaker was tied on a big bamboo. In the quiet atmosphere of the village, the song was coming from a little distance. It felt so good to me that I can't describe. I am old now but still I can't forget the memory of that feeling.

I remember this song. I was 5 years old in 1954 and living in Poona, India. My dad used to sing this, and many other Indian songs, which I remeber to this day. I am 63 now and in the autumn of my life. I miss my dad who died very young at 48, in 1975. I love you dad, and you mum xxx rest in peace.
