I was very interested possibly in the MOR M-P-B-G or PRO version. I’ve heard the IR laser is really bright and good. Basically getting rid of the need for a IR/Visible laser on the front of a rifle. I used to work at academy so they provide a discount to Expert voice or employees and military

To fix the washout problem just attach a polarizer or a REM 21 LED illuminator. The REM 21 is made of a 30% glass filled polymer just like the pistol grips of an AR. It was torture tested by IWI and passed all their tests. It has 11 brightness settings so you can adjust it to all light conditions. Illumination at your fingertips. You only use it when you need it.

Own one with illuminator and polarizer. Pairing it up with holosun hm3x. On the process of replacing it with primary arms 2.5-10x lvpo. I am ditching m21 setup coz it is heavy and at 100m i am getting 6 inch group. I have the bulleyes rectle It is more of a cqb setup.

I am testing a PA 1-6 FFP LPVO, LPVOs aren't light either, but the magnification is built in. These are older optics, I have been RDS Pro V2. I have a video on it and it's arguably better. Good luck in your quest. There is nothing easy when it comes to optics.

I have one on my AK and I absolutely hate it. The blue tint is terrible. And the washout makes it useless at times. However, It is amazing to use under NODS

@@chadhaire1711 true but then you have a blurry mess of a plastic filter to look thru. A better option is the rem-21 washout remover and my homemade one lol. Got a vid on my channel for how it solved that issue

@@aceman1126 The entire point of this sight is it doesn't need batteries, and it is super durable. That REM-21 is not durable, will break easily, and needs batteries defeating the point of buying the Meprolight sight in the first place. And as far as looking through that plastic filter, it's not that blurry, and if you know how to use this sight, you shouldn't be looking through the hole in the first place----you shoot with both eyes open, and the dot/triangle will pop up in your vision, you will never see the filter. Anyone thinking about buying a rem-21 should just save $400, and just buy a cheap China dot for $75....will do the same thing and last just as "durable" as the REM-21.

@@chadhaire1711 I fully understand the point of the m21. I've had one for years. But you fail to see the utility in a simple and cost effective product that even if it fails, leaves you with one of the most rugged and battery free optic ever made. And if you say the polarizer isn't THAT blurry then you agree that it's blurry. If you wanna run the polarizer so dark that you can use a white light then you might as well get an old school aimpoint occluded eye red dot lol see how I can say silly stuff too? The fact is, the m21 has some good points but really was only a great choice BEFORE modern red dots could run 50k hours. I still like it and in the insanely unlikely event there's no way to get or charge batteries I'm good, but let's be real about the m21s massive problems and why it's not widely used

It's been in active use by the Israeli Defense Forces and other militaries, continuously, since the 90's. I would say it's pretty durable. They recently updated it and I will be releasing a video on the M22 I took at shotsshow.

@brianfeeney9493 It has several decades of reliability to speak to. Your question is the BEST choice. I am more of a fan of the RDS PROv2. It doesnt have the passive reticle, but it does have a reticle powered by a single AA battery and it has the shake awake feature to preserve battery life. I did a review of it on my channel, it should be easy to find but I will link it in a follow on reply. Thanks for the comments, and if you are on Rumble, please look for me there.

@@mrguiltyfool WRONG. The M21 sight needs no batteries and is indestructible....putting a cheap Chinese crap illuminator that will go dead or break in just stupid and defeats the purpose of the optic.....those who need battery illumination go buy a $40 cheap scope.

It isn’t useless. It’s quite a fine sight if you’re in the outdoors. If you’re in CQB environment and the tritium has died. Then yes. You need the REM 21 module. The polarizer I’m sure is nice and would help in sandbox environments. But I’m sure the sight is still very useful without it. I currently have one on my AR. So I guess take my opinion for what you will.
