Meopta Meopro air

Meopta Meopro air 8×42 in My opinion Best in the 1k catagory chose these over other Binoculars at this price point such as Zeiss Conquest hd/ leica trinovid hd/vortex razor hd just didnt see the Need to go Down the rabbit hole with swaro again not worth it too Me anymore...The only advice Ill give is Do your own research and if possible Try before buy. One last thing turning Comments back on but please be respectful and helpful.

I’m comparing 10x42 binoculars. I’ve read positive comments about the Meopro Air, Zeiss Conquest HD, and Tract UHD HT binoculars. I have two Meopro riflescopes, which are very clear and a good value for the money. The Optika 10x42 has also one I’m considering, but it’s much less than the other three and probably a big step below in image quality. Any further thoughts on the Air? Thanks!

Lets just put it this way For the the money they are hard to beat used to own a pair of the coveted swaro els and the only real noticeable difference was better coating on objective to make eye relife less of an issue and faster focus on Els.But as far as resolution goes I like these better wich is odd becouse they are a fraction of the price .. just my two cents also for the price I would say zeiss conquest hd was my second choice just based on how bright and colorful they are albeit not as bright as an optic with abbe Konigg I know Im going to get crud for this but for the money The razor UHD by vortex is a good choice just wait till they go on sale if money is a concern and avoid the standard hd definatly not anywhere near as good at the end of the Day its up to you to decide so I encourage try before Buy

@@joshuanightvision1181 How would you compare the brightness of 10x42 Airs with the Conquests in low light? The AB prisms of the Razor UHD should be an advantage in low light but would only be considered if they were on sale. The Swaros are definitely out of my price range and 1k and under is where I’m at. Thanks for the additional information and have a good one!

@@archstanton9703 tradeoffs to all three I would say if central foucus and diopter is not needed and you dont mind weight get the UHD its easily the brighter optic of all three even brighter than my old els albeit alot heavier last I remember and as far as 2nd brightest of these three that would be the conquest hd and meopro air is 3rd but I chose meopro air in 8×42 becouse I like the central Diopter and flattenars also Dont believe in spending more than you need for desired effect at least at this point in My Life so purchasing high end swaro or leica just felt unnecisary at least that is my view

@@joshuanightvision1181 I couldn’t justify spending alpha-glass prices when much less expensive binocular will do the job almost as good. I’m even considering the Optika because of the positive comments and Meopta quality. I’ve have several pairs of Steiners and have only ever used porro-prism binoculars but would like to find out what it be like to use a quality roof prism in the field. Thanks again for the help!

I have a Zeiss Conquest 10x42 HD, but I don't like it. It's clear, but the image is also artificial. When I look closely, the image is like looking through a magnifying glass and the edges are blurred. I want to buy this Meopta, I hope it will be better

Meopta glass is very good but my only real complaint about these is that the focus wheel is somewhat slow on the meopro air If I where to do it all over again I would have purchased the Meopta B1 plus the only reason I didn't consider them is because the fluorite glass was only available in 10× on the B1 plus and on meopro air that feature was available in both 8× and 10× but looking back on this logic it doesn't make alot of sense My best recommendation is save your money and buy the B1 plus in the 10×42 HD.

@@joshuanightvision1181 I used the Zeiss Conquests and Leica HD 8x42’s and 10x42’s. I liked the image quality of the Conqueror 8x42’s the best. I was set on a 10x42 but now I’m leaning towards the 8x42’s for hunting and maybe trying my hand at birding. I’m still still considering the Meopro Airs. Are you having second thoughts about the Airs?

@Arch Stanton only that the focus wheel is somewhat slow and for best results to get that tac sharp image with diffused look I've got to set the diopter to the far right but I can live with that going to keep the airs

@@joshuanightvision1181 I’ve read about diopter problems with the Nikon Monarch and users running out of diopter adjustment. Do you think your Airs have a factory defect? I’ve used Meopta customer service for an issue I had with a riflescope, and they took care of it. Thanks for the reply!
