@Mace, I love the look on your face when Doug introduces himself. That was such a totally unscripted and human moment.
Thank you all, I have dealt with survivors guilt and PTSD for years and it wasn’t till the last 3 or 4 years that I finally got help and now I use many of the coping mechanisms that you have described. Mace thank you for what you’re doing with your program it sounds amazing, Mover & Gonky I listen daily to your thoughts and especially the mental health portion you guys have helped this old sailor with your advice along the last few years.
Always nice to see Mace.
That theory is true and not for just pilots. It works for us Soldiers who have PTSD or just issues that makes us not who we really are. It’s a proven calm down exercise as when we get unnecessarily ramped up for the little things.
I'm wiggling my toes right now, and I'm loving it!
A thousand likes. Captivating. Will use it and pass it on.
When Mace is talking about "wiggle your toes", it remains me about the time I was given a flight in an Extra 300 as a birthday present. The national champion sat in the back seat. After the take off, followed by a vertical climb with two rolls, a stall turn, a vertical dive with another two rolls, and a 6 G level off, he said: "Your controls". I grabbed the stick so hard that my heart beat dould be felt through the flight controls. I was not able to fly straight and level! Then, I heard from the back: "Use your finger tips." I relaxed, and suddenly, the machine became an extension of my mind. Think roll. Done.
I'm going to try this going forward. Thanks Mace for the idea!
Thanks for a Great Show Guys !!
