May is Mental Health Awareness Month and for my final project in my film class I did a short documentary style short about our youth talking about their struggles and having an open conversation about mental health.
There are so many people who push this issue away when so many teenagers and adults struggle with some form of Mental Illness, yet people are still not talking about this.
For anyone struggling, you are not alone. Please reach out and talk to someone.
For reach out hotlines:

I just wanted to give a really special thank you to everyone involved in this project. It is not easy getting on camera and talking about such a sensitive topic. Words cannot describe how grateful I am of each and everyone of you. Thank you for telling me your stories and letting me create something that I think is beautiful. You are all so brave and I love you all so much, thank you.
