Menopause is an inevitable stage in every woman’s life, and with responses ranging from minimal perceived effects through to a whole range of symptoms, it can be tough to navigate alone. In this online webinar, Dr. Wen Shen, co-director of the Women's Wellness & Healthy Aging Program, provides an overview of what to expect before, during, and after menopause, and how certain health conditions can be affected.

Good talk
Dr. Shen, why are so many US oncologists STILL in the dark and strongly opposed to the use of low dose vaginal estrogen for breast cancer survivors? My stage 2 DX was 19 yrs ago, yet I still insist on getting annual check ups by my onco because I want to stay on top of any issues that may arise. A couple years ago, I told her my vagina felt like it was on fire virtually 24/7 due to GSM. I asked her if it would be ok if I tried vaginal estrogen. Before I could ever finish my statement, she interrupted, completely dismissed my physical suffering, and told me she was against the idea because she “had no way of measuring my hormone levels”. That was it! And this woman works at an NCI-designated cancer center and is also a researcher! It’s a crime that so many oncologists are causing massive numbers of patients and survivors to suffer because they’re not interested in updating themselves on newer study data!

that will be at least 12 months of taking medicine which includes several antibiotics, depends on the sensitivity of the bacteria. come to your nearest hospital for further examination. they'll give you the appropriate treatment.
