I am unable to travel due to health reasons so I truly enjoyed the video tour. The 3D art work was some of the best I have ever seen. Yes, as you mentioned, you could make a video on the art work alone. I wish you would have shared what kind of foods were on the buffet. Just guessing there was anything and everything you can imagine. I hope it was tasty. Keep sharing and I will continue to watch and be educated on the places we have here in America that I have never visited. You are going places ! Good for you ! Safe travels.

We have been there numerous times. Wonderful place to go! We had a friend that knew Mr. Zook that did the three D art work pictures. He took us to Mr. Zook’s home and studio in the early 1990’s and we got to meet him and watch as he was working on one of his art works. Very tedious and time consuming work. He was very friendly and great to meet and talk to him. He told us how long it would take to do different pieces but can’t remember all he told us.

We have loved in Pa. for a long time and just went to Shady Maple last month. It is an amazing place. There is so much variety, not just buffet items, but other specialty stations. Way too much food. If you put one bite of half of the items on your plate, you wouldn't be able to eat it. The paintings are awesome and facility is spotless. Next time we go, we will have to work up an appetite at the farm market first.Absolutely the best buffet we have ever been to.

Hats off to Rebecca she is so kind and very polite. Everyone I ever incountered there have been the same way. The food is bangin and they have absolutely everything you can imagine. The choices are endless and delicious

You need to go back and just do a video of just the art and its history

Was there on Wednesday Feb 15th. Proof of your birthday and 1 paying guest and you get to eat for free. You also get a coupon book with discounts at the gift shop and the grocery store. This is an awesome place to eat.

If you go on your birthday with someone else that is a paying for their meal yours is free. Also little known fact that if you go by yourself on your birthday, let them know because you only have to pay half price for your meal. I lived in PA for 41 years before moving to KY in Sept 2022 and I went to Shady Maple many times. Love the farmers market their. They have some awesome things there that you can't find in other shops. Thanks for this video, reminds me of "home".

I love shady maple the restraint and the market. The quilts in the gift shop are gorgeous

Loved it. Yes definitely could spend hours in there. Start with breakfast, look around have lunch, continue looking have dinner, repack van, then go home. I understand you going fast, didn't mind that and thankfully you aren't one that swings the phone around, you hold it steady, which is a blessing for someone like me, swinging motions, jerky movements quickly bring on bad migraines. Alot would be open buggies so pull in out of the rain. RVs and trailer homes made by Amish far better built then any where else.

This place looks amazing! We're only about 2 hours from there in Maryland, might try to get out there one weekend. Where I live in Maryland, very close there is a Dutch Pennsylvania market right in the heart of Germantown that has foods, a restaurant, furniture, gifts, sometimes plants. We enjoy going there occasionally and buying candy, or sometimes other food items, like produce, but we really like their breads they make on site.

I grew up 20 minutes away from Shady Maple and we'd eat there quite a bit. I remember when they were in the original building, which is now Gish's furniture store. As a teenager, friends and I would eat at Shady Maple every Saturday. They do different feature diners each night and you get a free meal on your birthday.

There is a place in Rhode Island that is called the Nordic lodge . It is smaller in size with a bar and gift shop . It is all you can eat seafoods and steaks , deserts and more . I check the new price this year and it went up a lot , $135 for 2 hour seating limit on food items . The last time I went was a few years ago @ $75 a seating I’d love to go to shady maple some day

Wow I thought Der Dutchman here in Plain City ,Ohio was the largest restaurant.

Never really got to see the food offerings except for the beverages. Sho fly pie and specialty foods that are well known in the region.

My daughter lives in PA. She knows when we're there her daddy is going to shady maples. It's his favorite place to eat. You won't be disappointed.
