Menno has a unique flow that makes him stand out amongst regular bboys. Shigekix will be awesome in the future but needs more polish and flow. Easy win for Menno in this battle.
Anyone know that 2nd beat???
Solid.
Menno looks like a 1970's prisoner
1:50 track name please)
What's the first song?
Shigekix needs to incorporate more downrock and variation.

I completely agree, he's gonna be as good as Hong 10 in a couple of years. I'm in no way hating, its still impressive that he can compete at this level with adults. Its just a testament to his natural talent.

yeah right. Remember he is all but power. This is the second time I saw him dance with top and floor rock. Not his style but he will get used to this until next year so now he is a power with foot work and musicality.

Sports Video Games Agreed, Issei was the same way early on as well. But now he's a complete not and Shigekix can do the same.

Menno destrui nessa edição
Wow menno just clean up the floor.
i thought shigekix took round 1. But you cant power through the second beat like that. A beat like that is a lot more suited for floorwork and flowy movements, which is obviously mennos territory
seeing this battle after watching 2020 red bull bc one battle Shegikix champion
I'm impressed by Shigekix, really. His stamina and variations are crazy. I used to like Menno more few years back. He was like a wizard with all the combinations and mixing levels, angles and directions. He still has it, but seems to me like being a winner 3 times in BC One had an impact on him.

Shigekix look like he is nothing. He should have used his power in other rounds rather than forcing his self to dance another style. I like that trying other styles but if he wants to win top and floor in other rounds then next round stick to your style power. Maybe he could have mop Menno's face.

I know Menno's flow is great,,, but still Shig should have got that first round.
I think Menno killed Shigekix just like how Shingekix killed Danny...My opinion.

Lok Ling Chung it’s not beat hitting necessarily it’s more his flow with the music. He’s constantly just riding the beat you’d see it if you knew what to look for

Menno is the master of flow. The way he floats with the music and delivers level and direction changes on beat, is something one must be oblivious not to see.
WTF...Shig got robbed. Menno is good but, Shig def took round 1.

Round 1 wasn't even close. Menno won that and almost every judge agreed. Not sure how long you've been bboying, but after doing it for many years you'll start to understand why Menno wins so much. Not just watching, but also creating. Menno's creativity is on a level that I don't see Shig reaching any time soon.

Menno is creative, don't get me wrong but, his sets are simple. Shig went difficult and clean in round one...round two you can tell Shig was trying a little too hard. I think it should have gone to round 3. Been dancing on and off for years. Let's just say I agreed with bboy Reveal's judgement...saw the round from another perspective.

Shig's first round was difficult and clean.. But it takes more than that to beat Menno. The thing is, after bboying for years, seeing tons of bboys, and creating your own sets, you'll know that a lot of the moves that Shig did in his first round are very common. Airchairs, halos, airflares, etc. With Menno, more than half of the moves in his sets don't have names because he invented them. They're his trademark movements and nobody else does them (unless they're biting him), his style and sets are unlike anyone else's in the world, and that is a very very difficult thing to do that I don't think a lot of newer bboys understand. When the veteran bboys see Menno it's immediately "Whoa this is a unique style and movement" as opposed to seeing Shig and thinking "ok airchair, sixstep, halo, freeze," etc. But don't get me wrong Shig definitely has his moments. I think if he had done the set that he did against Danny Dan here he might've had a chance because it had far more trademark moves. But like I said, difficult and clean moves just won't cut it at the top. Just my opinion, as someone that danced from 1999 to 2009, and kept watching bboying ever since.

Not to mention, and I don't know if many people caught this, but Shig did a move that he probably unknowingly bit off of Menno at 2:12, and Menno responds by doing it himself at 2:53.

you got to be kidding me, go look at menno's moves again and tell anyone that they arent difficult. in case you dont notice, most of his moves are two sides as well.
