I hope they do a season 2 quickly! There will be a movie though, but another season means another 12 awesome episodes!!

A few people here are saying that the show Bakutan brought them here. Honestly, same here. I didn’t even know men’s rhythmic gymnastics was a thing until now.

It's really sad, but it's because it's only known in Japan and even there is but a niche, for something to make it in the Olympics it needs to have official world wide recognition like it was for Skateboarding in the last Olympics in 2021 that was accepted by the board from its shortlist it was in and still isn't a given that's gonna remain in the Olympics (although I highly doubt it's gonna go out because it's been a world wide thing for decades now) because it has been only just provisionally approved for the Paris 2024 Olympics and the same goes for every sport or discipline that gets to be included in the Olympic Games. I have hopes that one day this sport is going to be at the very least recognized outside Japan and have at least 1 major national professional tournament and everything that comes along with it, but sadly it takes time, and first of all it takes recognition. And all this is such just a big gigantic shame... It's so beautiful, nothing less than synchronized swimming (it's literally the same thing but on land and applied to gymnastics lol) and similar disciplines, and what the Olympics should do is have a place for new and/or upcoming sports or disciplines like this to be at the very least displayed in the games once during the games and let them have their own little space to be viewed from the world. It'd be such a huge thing and would respect the spirit and philosophy of the Olympics and its founder so much, too. The best we can do, as followers and enjoyers of this sport/discipline, is to keep watching it and promoting it and enojoying it, trying eventually to have more people discover it, maybe practice it (if we can't ourselves!) and eventually have people trying to enlarge its world and make it bigger and bigger and bigger. It's gonna take years, but I'm confident that, one day, we'll be able to watch a professional national or international Rhythmic Gymnastics tournament!

Bakuten brought me here my hearts stopping when they do the thing were it looks like they would collide with one another while doing back flips so amazing

I've never known this sport exicted before bakuten and its a really cool sport

After watching the anime Bakuten I learned about male aerobics. It's really amazing, I thought the anime would be different in real life until I saw this video, it's amazing

@@realdrummerd0w00n5 i think you should give it a shot, it’s pretty good in my opinion. The plot is not especially unique but visual (performance and stuff) is really cool. The anime is pretty funny too :)))

robertk997 it’s called rhythmic gymnastics I’ve used to do it, it’s sadly mostly done with woman and it’s hard to find places that lets men so it too but yes you can find places that do and teach rhythmic gymnastics in most countries I’m not sure about men but for woman you can easily find places that teach it

@RR no, this is men's rythmic, also known as synchronized tumbling. Men's artistic is pommel, high bar, parallel bars, rings, floor, and vault. Women's artistic is beam, bars, floor, and vault.

Wonderful ! ! ! All members !, I wish I could be one of them... but I cannot because I am a clumsy Dutch with no manners.. We could learn a bit from this beautiful culture , Japan is clean, and polite, they learn to take care about each other . Great to see this here. Domo Arigato 🌷

hey fellow dutch person! i just recently found the beauty of mens rhythmic gymnastics. which is why i now want to try and persue my new dream of getting into a team and being able to do this myself! i am going to join a gymnastics club soon, and will do my best to be as good as them :) i hope i can still become good even though i am starting kind of late (im 16yo). i hope that after i learn the basics in the club i can join a good team :)

This isn’t rhythmic gymnastics. In RG you can’t do aerial skills apart from leaps etc. This is more of an artistic gymnastics group floor routine.

Men's and women's artistic gymnastics differs, why not to have different rules for rhythmic gymnastics too? At least this performance will attract millions of viewers worldwide compared to Spanish version with women's rules, costumes and make-up.

This style of Men's Rhythmic gymnastics developed in Japan and so far not recognized from other countries but they are working on to be recognized as new sport as ”Men’s Rhythmic gymnastics”.

The IOC will never allow it in the Olympics.

They would also have to modify the tumbling passes as the no handed saltos are not allowed.
