​@@gffhhh9067 well i think it doesn't matter if he knew or not - he was deeply ill and aware of how unlikely remission was. angiosarcoma has one of the worst survival rates in all cancers, because the cancer is usually diagnosed very late into its progression. most of the time it has already spread to multiple organs

I was lucky enough to see his “Figures of Speech” exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta. It was a life changing experience curated by a genius. Long Live Virgil Abloh!

I've always found the number of things he oversaw and directed very overwhelming. Even with his own style and how he builds his outfits and accessorizes must've taken more than just a moment's thought; especially in the spotlight as a leader of fashion inspiration. Yet, how he carried himself with poise and seemed to have always known how to improve, create, or instruct is what I admired the most about him and what made him one of a kind. How different the world would be if only we can replicate the makeup of his soul.

im not sure everyone today knew how powerful virgil's influence was during the time when he became the creative director of LV. so much so that people are not funding his skatepark in ghana. From his rise to fame, the influence his brand Off-white had over every fashion trend, to now, a hallow remanence of what used to be "art" in fashion. That's just my opinion as I never seen anyone express their passion and art into fashion like virgil (LV 2020 men's). Being one hell of a pioneer, it became annoying to everyone to see his deconstructed shoe with text on it. But that didn't stop him from being the face of fashion back in 2021.
