I always wondered how an NBA player who stands nearly 7 feet tall would fare in discus.....or how a shot putter would fare in MMA. Interesting to see specific skillsets and ponder.

Unless an NBA player had been practicing discus for many years, he would come no where close to this. Discus is an incredibly technical sport that talks many years to master

I find it refreshing that theses athletes don’t look like they’re built for show, with the pretty vascularity, the extreme tan, the entirely waxed body, the 5 to 8% bodyfat levels. Theses athletes look genuine, big, powerful.

Nobody's been close to the world men's discus record set by an East German (243 feet) since the imposition of severe (and very expensive) drug testing for PEDs AND THE PED MASKING AGENTS. The hammer record is still held by a Russian (Yuri Sedykh at over 270 feet, I recall), which still stands for the last 20 or more years, for the same reason. The javelin implement was actually redesigned by engineers to reduce throwing distances by about 30-40 feet when an East German threw the old type over 340 feet before 2000, threatening to hit runners and spectators.
