He is lucky uncle Chen Long had already past his prime. In addition, Chen Long also isn't in perfect form during this competition due to blisters in one of his feet. This is like a match up between Axelsen [at his best] vs Chen Long at his 60% capacity. If Axelsen met Chen Long in his prime form, [2014, 2015, 2016] No way Axelsen would have beaten him. Conclusion: Axelsen is lucky to live in a generation of mediocre MS PLAYERS. HAHA

@@Keanureeves853 There are 2 kinds of Olympics venue, build a new one or reuse existing facility. Tokyo is already super crowded and there will be no space, plus there are already existing usable facilities in Tokyo area so there will be a no brainer to build a new one. Cities such as Rio and Beijing build their venues in a concentrated point where the demand is not that high, hence, many of them are wasted after the Olympic since there is less users and the maintenance is high. (One of the reason why host cities build venues in concentrated area mainly not because there aren't any existing venues but because those venues don't meet Olympic requirement such as distance from Olympic village, capacity, and other requirements)

(For those who didn't know, Chen was easily defeated to Shi Yuqi in the national game of China. Just one month after this game, because of the same injure he suffered during Olympics.
