    France pretty much had a one man team with Grousset, that last guy managed to lose 2 places despite having a decent margin to at least secure a podium...

    Relay matches have minimal starting time. It can be as little as 0 seconds of reaction time compared to regular matches with a reaction time of at least 0.5s.

    Not surprising, Léon doesn’t train specifically for 100m races

  • @jaxlone997
    @jaxlone99711 ай бұрын

    bro Grousset split 49.27 it's the second fastest 100 fly split ever behind Dressel. He's a fucking madlad, if he keeps going he could flirt with Dressel's records. Pity the other guys didn't do as well they could've been on the podium. I understand Léon's split wasn't crazy had a tough week with all these W perfs, but Haiyang Qin had a crazy 50 breast split although he also had a very intense week full of wins. But again 100 breast is not Léon's specialty so it's understandable, he has more endurance than speed. They should've got Manaudou or another good freestyler for their free leg... I think if they train more for this specific event they could compete for gold in Paris next year.

    France pretty much screwed up, from silver medal to nothing. They used to have a lot of great sprinters back in the day ie. Alain Bernard, Frederick Bousquet, Fabien Gilot and Amaury Leveaux. The Chinese freestyler was on Turbo mode to fend off Kyle Chalmers to secure silver.

    They didn’t hesitate to DQ Kaylee McKeon earlier in the week who eventually got MVP. They don’t turn a blind eye on MVP swimmers just cause they’re very good. Léon’s breast dolphin kick has been talked about quite a lot and it’s not a DQ.
