This bass line is phenomenal

This song is absolutely amazing. Not just for the banger baseline but the vocals, lyrics, everything. Plus, at least in my interpretation, the lyrics are quite poignant. The way I see them is with lines like “cause I can’t stay forever” and “on my window” that it’s about how fleeting and brief life is. To me it’s about taking the advice of that little voice that “tells me leave, I must” and going to see the world, to experience life and enjoy it to its fullest.

A truly great bass line. It catches your attention, but doesn’t hog the spotlight. He doesn’t need to- we are all paying attention. There’s a ton of videos of other bass players performing this song. Everyone who plays bass will be learning this song, for sure. This will be heard in Guitar Centers all over the land.

I love this video. It's a necessary reminder that a music video isn't better just because it's expensive as hell to produce or made by a famous director - although they can be cool too of course. It's just all about connecting the right visuals to the sound - and it could be anything, as minimalistic or as grande as seen fit. In this case, a girl on a bike totally did it for me.

I loved a girl named Lauren...she was a beautiful girl who would have made an awesome wife. But she had big dreams and often felt like she should be out exploring the world and experiencing new things. With me being the homebody that I am, we often butt heads bucause I just didn't share the same enthusiasm as she did about wanting to see the world...I had been moving since I was a kid and I was ready to find a place where I could stay for a while. We ended up breaking up in the end. One of the reasons being that I wanted her to do the things she wanted to without me holding her back. No hard feelings...I just wanted what was best for her. Listening to this song makes me think about her everytime I hear it.

Why u hate this song?

A little bit of watching her ride the bike goes a long way. Video would be better if it switched between her riding the bike to more of what she's seeing in Nature, like go pro shots
