Like,, he says he doesn't want a relationship (clearly avoidant!) but his actions show the opposite. I am doing everything you preach. He goes to where i hang out, he asks all about me when I'm not there, smiles, talks and stares blatantly etc when he sees me. Non verbals show he's into me, but he's fighting it. Very frustrating. Men who have a lot going on wouldn't tolerate this nonsense, and vice versa. Similarly, men who have stability in their lives and are very organized don't fall for these types of tactics. Just hope that you and your new man are equally yoked.

It still works in the same principles. This is just framed to work universally. Simply put, you show your authentic self while being adaptable enough to act accordingly. If they are being inconsiderate assholes, you dont fawn and become all sweet. You put them in their place. When they are nice and have proven safe and trustworthy, you show them your vulnerable side. You match their energy while not being afraid to show who you really are, what you feel and think. You say, "this is all you can get as of the moment" The insecurity Alex is trying to convey is just about learning to protect yourself. Showing you can be aggressive and stand your ground and have convictions if they dont come correct.

Maybe this is the case for guys.. I wonder? but for women I find that we fall in love when we feel cherished and safe and love.. Or at least me.. Yeah emotional variety is good… as long as it’s not toxic or harmful emotions
