Patrice was one of the ONLY comedians calling out the hypocrisy of cancel culture back when it started. While the rest of the industry just ran for cover, Patrice was doing TV interviews on Fox News saying how ridiculous it is to fire someone like Don Imus for making an offensive comment. That's what comedians do... That's one reason that Dave Chappelle and Patrice stand head and shoulders over any other comics of that generation. None of the others were publicly vocal and willing to take on the woke mobs. That courage shows in their comedy, and is why they are (and were, RIP Patrice) the best. Anyone who watches reaction channels regularly can attest how cancel culture has affected young people. Reaction channel hosts over 30 years old aren't afraid to laugh at anything. The younger ones, especially anyone under 25 have fearful looks on their faces whenever controversial topics are front and center.

there's plenty of comedians taking on woke culture with gusto, just with not the same level of publicity. Bill Burr, Tom Segura and his wife Christina P, Anthony Jeselnik, Michael Che, hell even Jeff Dunham. all great examples as well.

@@XUPREMEFLEX More have certainly joined in, but NOT back when Patrice was doing so...15+ years ago. Patrice saw the danger of what was coming and wasn't afraid to stand against the tide of stupidity, alone if need be. Patrice always had his finger on the pulse of social trends. You can find clips out there of him discussing "men's issues" like MGTOW, and societal attacks on masculinity in general, years before other comedians even noticed they existed (mostly on the Black Philip Show).

I have ADHD and I am not on any medication. Every time I start a story my husband asks me the point because he knows if I start I will stray away from the point that I won't even know why I started because I will jump from where I was to somehow another story within a story. 😂😂😂😂. I can relate to the bit. Once I was telling a story to my husband and he in the middle of that I realise I have no idea what was the plot. I left in the middle of that😂

Patrice was hysterical! But, guys, guys, guys..... You can absolutely love & like your spouse. We're each other's best friends. However, we also respect each other's need for time alone, and NEED that time. I hope you guys experience that kind of love at some point. Love, friendship and autonomy is the best! Love you guys!

With all do respect Debbie your husband would never actually tell you the truth, we know exactly what that would lead to. I've been married for the last 30 years, and although I do make time for my wife out of love and respect, she fully understands that I simply prefer being somewhere in the house alone doing me. Our marriage has lasted this long because we have an understanding, there are things that I choose to do alone, but that doesn't mean I don't share any time with my wife. Also we're husband and wife, we never classify ourselves as "best friends", we have other people in our lives to fill those roles.

Wrong audience Debbie. Clearly the home of people who are stuck in the 1950’s. Most of the married couples I know are indeed friends. I do not know what kind of disfunctional shit this is, but if they’re happy then whatever.

@@mjareacts2731 I agree with you on time alone in the house or outside the house. We're the same there, and worked beautifully. I totally disagree with you on his truthfulness, which you're in no position to say. We cherish that quality in each other. Also, we have great friends outside of each other, but we are also most definitely each other's best friends, as well as companions, lovers, travel buddies, etc. Congrats on your 30 years!
