Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Willoughby Steelhead Run, as the fish run the 23 mile gauntlet from the South Bay of Lake Memphremagog up the Barton River and finally to Willoughby Falls in Orleans, Vermont. Vermont Fish & Wildlife calls this one of the premiere wildlife viewing opportunities in the state. These Pacific Northwest Steelhead were stocked in Memphremagog right around 1890-1910, and have been running and spawning above the falls ever since.
