I had this happen due to CPU overheating. You can diagnose if this is happening to you by going to power management/advanced in Windows OS and setting CPU to like 65% then trying again and seeing if it still happens. If this fixes it, next steps would be to fiddle with BIOS settings around temperature throttling and/or fix your cooling setup. May only need an aerosol spray duster, may need completely new fan. A tool like HWInfo may also help diagnose. Probably happens a lot in Tarkov because its such a CPU hungry game.

When using HWinfo you can check the max temps your PC has hit, as well as hardware utilization. Keep it running while playing Tarkov and if it crashes again, check the log and see which of your components are either running too hot, or are bottlenecking (your CPU isn't fast enough to keep up with your GPU, or your RAM isn't fast enough to keep up, etc. Additionally, you can use the Windows Event Viewer and going to Windows Logs -> Application, and looking for the errors. New PCs sometimes come with wrong push-pull fan configurations meaning your machine could be having cooling issues, causing the crashes.

It's poor programming is the issue. Thermal safeties are set pretty high already so I wouldnt disable that like suggested. You could try adjusting the tarkov settings or just become salty in the comments at Nakita.

probably smart. i’m in the same boat. scared to give it another go now even tho i love the game 😅

try increasing pagefile, that is what fixed mine when i had a problem with blue screen

You blurred out the code and not sure why. Wouldnt help people hack or ID you. I would probably say their programming leads to resource runaway because they are not using proper methods. Best you can do is lower your settings in game to limit how much it happens. Might slow it down but wont stop it.

that was just a screen shot off the internet of the message i got bc my recording didn’t actually pick up that error screen. But it was identical. unfortunately i don’t have that code. Thanks for the advice

brand new rig. it worked fine before the update. guess we will see what happens with the next patch. been happening to a lot of people 🤷🏼‍♂️

game runs fine on my 13900ks, 4090... just get a better pc bozo
