Why did they make these dogs seem like feral wolves?? I can understand if they’re not well socialized or just don’t like other people, but it felt a bit like they went overboard and scared everyone more than needed

From the few comments that I read here, these dogs are considered as one of South Korea's national monuments. So, the staff were most likely scared due to mishandling them

So are these like koreas version of pitbulls or something? Or is it these particular 4 dogs they were worried about?

They're type of dogs that can be aggressive when challenged. They are very brave so you see they don't hesitate to enter. Mr. Kang didn't want them to meet other dogs coz these dogs love to hunt even big size animals. They only loyal to their owner and aloof to strangers. That's why they took extra precautions not to make these dogs angry.

No. Just a special ep for their 1 year anniversary. If u go to kbsentertain channel, you'll see the newer episodes (minus the eng subs).

I don't understand. Why were they nervous about these dogs? Was it these four in particular that had aggression issues or is that breed similar to pit bulls in the fact that people view them as aggressive because of their history?

these dogs are considered one of south korea's national monuments, there's a very long and tough process that get one of them so i think they are more careful with handling these dogs! you can find more information when they appear at episode 21 :)
