Can’t remember the last time I saw a truck derby dominated by Fords towards the end!

Because they all sandbagged for 3/4 of the event

44x was in a league of his own, my guys build job on that truck was rock solid, from the diff’s to the engine,not a thing ran wrong, in my opinion Mad dog was 44x & 86 the lil SUV that had its passenger side front tire bent most the heat. What a heat !

Dang that old 70's Ford just dominated that durango first shot. Just goes to show these older trucks are as tough as nails.

It is hilarious that in the first few hits, the axles (front and back) on almost all trucks got bent, and everything was hopping around.😅

These look like rust free trucks that would bring a lot more dollars than you can hope to win . Especially that square body Chevrolet. 😮 I can't bear to watch 😢.

Old iron is stronger though, and half of these cars would be in a junk yard if not used for this, it would be cool to see more old foreign cars destroyed this way but they wouldnt last and it would make for a shorter heat. Both have good sides and down sides, and i am not taking one side or the other.

That drivers door at 6:00 had to hurt the one truck spun that Durango or explorer around as the other truck hit hit damn he didn’t even flinch lol but that had to hurt

Those and the 60's Dodge sweptline trucks usually dominate truck class.

Those old Fords really put on a show! Just goes to show how strong and durable vehicles once were.

They're, must be rules, against changing the differential ratios! Just, look at the blown head gaskets and cracked heads!

He won but that’s my dad and “give er the onions” was one of his buddies saying that he said a lot but he passed so he puts it on all of his trucks and I put it on my car too.

Butin the UK they pretty much total the cars in one hit, short shows.

I like to see more close up action instead of seeing them in the distance close up action is more fun and exciting

@@DemolitionDerbyMN a fresh Durango SET UP THE SAME.... WOULD have bent the 10,000 lb.. Ford . No problem. You gotta really weld the crap out of an old Ford to make it that tough. From the factory they weren't that tough at all.

pretty sad to be out there derbying that 70s ford truck and whatever those older 1960s are

very seldom do you see any Ford power plants in derbies. I've seen like 85% Chevy's and 15% Mopars.

Distributor out front puts the cabosh on it real quick, I’m a ford guy and I’ll admit it, use a 355 Chevy

Original rules were a stock style build. Come to find out after driving 4 hours they were allowing weld trucks to run. Cant be ready for something that isn't suppose to show up to begin with.
