In Chinese, some names only include two words, (And usually names consist of three words, saying only one word would be very akward) thus some kids have never been called their last name (In Chinese, calling last names means you're close to a person, opposite to English) 😃

When I was 8, I went outta town and made a new friend at a playground. And according to my parents who befriended HER mom, she (forgot her name, I think it was Zuri. It sounded like an African name) went to her mom sitting next to my parents on a bench, and asked for some water and she asked "Are you having fun with the little boy over there?" and she responded with "Yeah, he's weird." And went back to play with me. When we got back in the car, they kept talking about how she liked me. How?! 🤣
