Good company with a few dirty trainers that don't take a shower. Ernie from Fresno CA is one of them.

If you want it bad enough, you can deal with ALL of the BS that comes with the entire process from the moment you decide to become a truck driver. From CDL school where they enroll up to 200 students a month and we wait hours between turns at maneuvers and road time, to the training videos we have to watch, and learning how to do paper logs etc. It's a means to an end. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience Sir. Hope to run into you somewhere down the road.

@@50plustrucker I hope you didn’t misunderstand my comment. I made it in reference to a specific moment in your video and it was supposed to convey my respect for how you are setting your mentee up for a successful career by being a trainer that cares about him as a person and the success of your mentee as well as the company.. In my opinion, you are setting the example for your trainee, not only to be a competent and safe flatbedder but to also be a good trainer himself someday and an asset that any company would like to have. You are a mentor that cares about the future of his mentee, the company you both represent and the industry in general. A mentor is a trainer who cares. I was a trainer and mentor for my previous employer for several years before I made the decision to become an owner operator. Keep up the good work and stay safe. I hope I can buy you a coffee one of these days. God bless.
