Melt Gold Powder/Dust without any Loss | How to | Jewellery Making

In this video, I am showing you how to melt gold powder together with no loss or minimum loss. This gold powder is collected from filing or jewellery cutting. (Chillai / retti / ghis)
Basically I am melting all the gold dust and converting it into a gold bar. This gold can be refined later on.
After casting, we have the file the jewellery pieces. So thats when these gold powder gets collected.
You will need Borex Powder, Boric Powder, and Eating Soda for melting minute gold particles. You will also need melting pots also known as Crucible
This process ensures minimum to no loss while melting. Gold is very expensive and even minute gold particles needs to be saved.

wow that great, never thought about doing it that way, was trying to figure how you would not be blowing gold dust out of the bowl, when you put a 2nd bowl on top it all made sense, will have to try this next time i have gold to melt. thanks for the video.

Hey , Borac powder holds all the gold particles together. Thus , it reduces loss while melting . This process can be used for silver as well .

Hey Saeed , It's called "Taali" in Hindi. Or else you can ask any Jewellery tool shop for melting mould

@@GoldArts @Gold Arts dagina means Jewellery. Gold jewellery me soldering ka colour alag dikhta hai to uske liye gold jewellery me polishing ke Baad colour chadate hai. Uske process. Silver jewellery ka nai. Gold jewellery ka.

It doesn't matter . You can use a new melting pot everytime you melt gold if it suits you financially
