I'm usually the first one to complain about waste but honestly I don't believe he's wasting that much here... That melon skin is THICK, and since he is selling it to customers "ready-to-eat" on a stick, he has to make sure there is no skin left at all. You don't want the customer to bite into a hard, rubbery piece of melon. If I'd buy this on from a street vendor, I'd prefer he remove a bit more skin than not enough.

It’s all white and close to the rind. It tastes worse than the deep flesh of the melon. You’re wrong. There’s not thing wrong how he cut it.

Actually I used to cut melon for fruit salad where I worked, he left a LOT of melon with the white and rind. To each their own though.

How is he a master after wasting half of the fruit while cutting 😂...

​@성이름 the white part of watermelon can hurt the digestive system. That I know of it's best used like pickles and relish. I wouldn't give it to anyone to eat otherwise.

I’ve never wanted honey dew melon. Until now.
