I like the style of Stephan Bodzin and wanted to make a melodic techno track like him. All the Synth-Sounds are from the MC-707. Lots of LFO-Modulation going on and all I do live is tweaking the filters and muting tracks. Hope you get the vibes ;)

How do you like the Roland MC-707? I have a Maschine MK3 and a Roland TR8-S, probably overkill to get the MC-707, but I like to hook them up on Channel 3 and or 4 of my DJ Controller for some extra live performance stuff to keep things fresh. Looking for any kind of feedback from a current user to see if its worth the $999.00 investment in fun and music? Sweet tunes :) btw...

I like it a lot, you can do pretty much anything with it. The sound is nice and it is perfectly designed for live performances. Maybe try first with your maschine to see if things could work, then probably get a MC 707. I can recommend it to everyone, espeacially for beginners.
How much bpm?
Are the drums on the MC 707 insufficient? Or is the TR8s that much better? I have the MC 707 and am wondering whether I should get the TR-8S too.

I think those two are the perfect combination. With the TR8S you have the option to fade/mute different drumsounds on the fly while having more free tracks on the MC 707 for synths and stuff. Soundwise the drums inside the 707 are great, but for live access the TR is perfect.
