Na verdade eu acredito que o estilo atual de Virtual Riot é a evolução mais sincera do Brostep. Ou melhor, na verdade eu tenho certeza disso.

Future riddim set me up for the loved by many halcyon label, which... got me to unironically love hyperpop.

Hyperpop ain't really that bad. Sometimes is over produced and it ain't really a genre, but as long as it sounds bangers, why care? Lol

Melodic riddim is like the new brostep Future riddim is like the new riddim In my case, I was a absolute fan of dubsteo until 2017, then riddim come and my love disappeared( except producers like monxx or virtual riot who made really good riddim) Now melodic riddim appeared like my love for dubstep Tnaks melodic riddim, thanks colour bass

NUU$HI - Tsubaki makes me feel things

As i see it, melodic riddim feels a lot similar to standard riddim or dubstep but as the name suggests melodic, usually the same structures just with colour bass instead of normal riddim bases, or "colourful" versions of such. Future riddim seems a lot more experimental and while they can overlap a bit future riddim definitely seems to step outside of the bounds of conventional and melodic riddim with new sounds, rhythms, structures and other elements outside of the drop.

@@yxngthugger1561 after having learned more about the genres' definitions it's that future riddim is interchangeable with melodic riddim, however the music that's shown as melodic riddim is called "colour bass" subgenre who most people think Chime is responsible for blowing up

@@kqzero "grittier" because it has traces of Hybrid Trap or hyperpop...? I think Hyperpop-esque Future Riddim were recent fusions from Oolacile and Qwaston's Enchanted Vol.1 ( I forgot leotrix was the first artist on Halcyon to use Hyperpop sounds in his Emoboy303). The other artist from Enchanted Vol were using traces of Hybrid Trap rather than hyperpop. I can't put hybrid trap and hyperpop in the same place since they're different genres, but in Future Riddim, these different Fusions meant the same, futuristic. Melodic Rid can sometimes intertwined with Future Rid because "sometimes", Future Riddim has melodic to it. But in Future Rid, "sometimes" it doesn't . If other people who haven't know before about Future Riddim and they listen to compare Muerte's Sleep Puppet and Nuu$hi's Tsubaki, at first glance they wouldn't label them as the same genre.

I like both

its a tie for me lol. Colour bass was the first dubstep i ever heard, but now that i found halcyon, it is insane!!! i think future wins by was a little bit because of Qwaston - Ride&Back&Home, but other than that, its a solid tie.

I wanna like melodic riddim, but future riddim calls for me more. Either way great songs 🔥❤

Nope. Melodic Riddim is a combination of Melodic Dubstep and Riddim, with a melodic and colourful sound design, whilst Future Riddim combines Riddim with Future Bass, and has off key repetitive melodies.

No they aren't the same XD. Melodic Riddim is Melodic Dubstep + Riddim (Riddim that's more melodic and had colourful sound design). Future Riddim is Riddim with elements from Future Bass (off key melodies). Colour Bass is a combination of the heavier side and lighter side of Dubstep.

No. Melodic Riddim and Colour Bass aren't the same. Melodic Riddim, is Melodic Dubstep + Riddim (Riddim that is more melodic), whilst Colour Bass combines the heavier side of Dubstep with the lighter, melodic side.

Colorbass isn't even a genre, bruh. Both melodic and future riddim can have colorbass sounds. That outdated Melodic Dubstep = Colorbass from 6 year old Chime's track doesn't uphold that term today since colorbass has been in many genres like trap, house and dnb in recent year. Update your brain wikis.
