So happy that she had such a better championships than last year. She came so close in the AA and Floor final😭 If she keeps working hard she will be great next year and even better come 2020.

Yes, Melnikova deserved a bronze medal at least but I actually thought Hurd did a little better that night. Nonetheless, Melnikova is artistic and captivating.

She improved so much I am so happy ^_^

Everyone's complaining about how this routine is underscored, but I think that E score is right. Here's what I got: Chuso: 0.3 chest down - 0.1 knees in air - 0.1 feet apart - 0.1 hop Switch ring half: 0.3 form - 0.1 precision Double layout: 0.1 knees in air - 0.1 chest down - 0.1 hop Double back: 0.2 two steps back Double pike: 0.1 long pause in corner - 0.1 hop I'd give this an 8.3 E score, and they gave it an 8.133 While maybe a bit harsh, she is definitely not being underscored.

Anyway, If she had scored 8.3… 8.133 means she was underscored. Another thing, that's revelant os ALL complains made by russians are reject. ALL complains made by US team até accept. Thare is something Very wrong about This

So that is your excuse? 🤣 I love Gelya, she is a stunning gymnast and she had a great FX. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough .. ... (missing that ring hurt her) , she just didn't have the difficulty to keep up. Deserve? No it must be earned and others earned it. To say under the USA dict. Is just freaking HYSTERICAL... maybe you should go back and watch again. Look at the scores. A. It wasn't USA who took the medal, scores were way too far ahead to even compare. Stop making excuses and just hope she can work on her stamina and up her difficulty. She did fantastic! Just not enough to medal this day

Yes thats why this competition had the most medals won by non american in a very long time basically decades , for some countries they took their first medals such as the philippine and mexico and canada medaled and belgium took gold , i saw it was fair , youre just mad that ur gymnasts didnt medal , look up another excue to post and take a seat honey

@@kevinsam3078 Kevin! 🙌🏼 I think the die hard Russian "only" fans can't deal with FACTS. I say "only" because I am a Russian fan, but i am also realistic ! I'm dying though 🤣 yup... USA must have paid bukoo bucks to make sure the judges OVER scored them and UNDER scored Russia so that they would qualify almost 9 points ahead. Not because USA is just that good. Because they CHEAT AND PAY THE JUDGES 🤔🤣 WAY TO MAKE HISTORY AGAIN. Loving that these other nations medaled! Mexico first

They didn’t erase the Romanians? They erased themselves. Cătălina Ponor won Euros 2017 barely two years ago before retirement. The Romanian national team lacks and is poorly funded. What do you expect.

@@riquebusta8652 regret to say that if they nullified the Romanians gradually until it was combined with the precarious budgetary situation of the federation itself and its economic shortcomings, now the Russians are the next in the sights of the judges, like forgetting the injustice of London 2012 with Komova in the final floor, who was by far, better than Raisman and recently in the Doha World Cup 2018 get silver medal teams and devices did not allow them to appear, something rare or not...
