I remember Wendy covering the loss of your mom… she was so so upset… she had seen the same doctors… and she gave a lot of air time about the tremendous loss… and I remember her having you on the show too… she loves you.. and loved your mom… it was genuine..

I started watching the Wendy show every night in high school on KZread (each segment of her show is as uploaded everyday) in 2014-2015 until it ended… I loved Wendy and her show so much! I’ve seen some clips of the documentary but not sure if I wanna watch the whole thing bc I hate seeing Wendy in such a bad state!😢😢😢

@@canuck33 I agree 💯!! I feel like @ davidyontef has a Way about him that allows, maybe even encourages, other people to open up to him. (And therefore, US!) I think that he has Definitely found what he was Meant to do! In my humble opinion. And yes, I agree that Melissa is a great collaborator!! She has a perspective on the industry that few are willing to share with the public. Probably from growing up In It!! 🤷🤔.

I really loved Wendy's show back in the day. I watched her religiously. I relate to her feeling bored by life. Her documentary was really good, but I don't like the concept of her not being all there.

As someone who worked most of my life in psych & drug & alcohol facilities and with Dementia running on both sides of my family two things bother me. It seems like the team behind this film are now back peddling. Saying that this was okay because Wendy approved and was the executive producer doesn't wash. According to public record Wendy's guardianship for financial and health concerns started in May 2022. Was there no monthly evaluations done? Just because a project was started it doesn't mean the green light can't be pulled. I'd be looking into the treatment team and definitely the guardian. The crew says they didn't know of the dementia diagnosis. That's valid as no one did until recently. Yet, that tells me you thought it would be a good idea to film someone when you just assumed they were a drunk or drug addict. If she was needing a guardian because she wasn't able to make proper, healthy decisions for herself than this should have been acknowledged before the release. I'm just playing devils advocate here and look forward to Melissa's interview with the film makers.

I watched the wendy doc. I still have so many questions. Not siding with wells Fargo. The records are sealed. But there has to be a reason. Why her family members. Didn't do something ahead of time. After a very short period. You are aware there's a big problem with wendy. It's just sad. Love her or hate her. She built an amazing career. And it's like watching your friend. Descending into hell on earth.

@@behindthevelvetrope I believe she is on the spectrum. I have worked with children and adults with autism and Asperger’s syndrome for over 25 years. She definitely fits the profile of Asperger’s. Allegedly.
