“Everything shifts when we get the Father’s smile. It’s the core, root, foundation of your ability to stay sustainable. If not, it’s just a cause, just passion.”🤯

I love this. I absolutely NEEDED to hear this. I pray everyone who will come across this comment and video will understand the message of this video. We need to go back to the basics and always ask God for a revelation of the gospel. In a world today, especially in westernized Christianity where it’s easy to get loss in fame and in the mix and it’s also easy to forget to Jesus. We miss him when we don’t understand being rooted in him and not our insecurities, not our distractions, not our experiences, not our idolatry, not our leaders, not fame. We need to understand being rooted in the FATHER’s delight! You’ll never be moved when you truly just rest in God and let go of all that crap just like she said. “Your passion that’s not rooted in the father’s delight is hurting people” just like she said and that’s the biggest issue we’re seeing today. We’re seeing the manifestation of people who are in ministry, people in different arenas and claiming to be children of God but missed being rooted in the father. Please don’t be distracted by movements and leaders and your own emotions. Spend time with the father and stay as his delight please. Don’t ever think you’re too good for a message like this. This is what we NEED!

This message was absolute medicine for me, going through probably my worst patch ever, it helped me see what God is doing in my life. False idols and crutches are falling away. He is my great reward. I formed a theology based on my life experience, but that had to be discarded as it didn't work/fit my present phase. Keep doing what you are doing, it is a great blessing for us.

It is tough! I see the Lord’s promises in the bible. Sometimes it is not that simple to say I will choose faith. Who wouldn’t want to have faith. I struggle. I am honest about that; about just choosing to believe God will heal me.

The impact that young man had on you when you still weren't healed is the OPPOSITE impact this speech has on me❤️. One of the difficulties that comes with going to a charismatic church is how people respond when you're still suffering. Maybe I am doing something wrong and that's why I still have such severe migraines but when I lean into Jesus in my suffering I feel him holding my hands and I sense his compassion. I don't understand suffering but I know that father loves me and there is no power no curse no sickness disease nothing that is more powerful than him and there is no higher authority than my hero Jesus. And whether I am healed or not I'm not going to give up trusting in my beautiful creator. I love you Melisa! Your testimony is such an encouragement and brings me hope.

i fully understand what you mean. it’s always an issue of faith, of not being militant enough with the word, of forcing you to sprint despite both legs being broken, of being redirected to the “right” strain of thought (e.g., “well, jesus NEVER retaliated,” “but you’ve died to your rights (to be hurt, to be offended, etc)). the shame that takes over is equal parts haunting as it is crippling. i pray that we both learn to separate what we’ve been taught through tradition and charismatic theology and come to a place of being deeply rooted in the truth of the father’s love.

Melissa, Jesus loved us that why he came and not he came so he can enjoy or understand humanity so he loved us and for the result went on the cross. Jesus knew humanity before, he was with his father when he created us. He conquered sin and enter his Glory again. So there is not a HUMAN in heaven in the right of the Lord. But the Savior you came to save and show the love of the Father to humanity. Love.

We are called to compare everything we hear to what God’s word says, not live by our feelings and emotions. The heart is comprised of the mind, the will and emotions. A little truth mixed in with a lot of error, simply because it sounds good is very dangerous. Our “feelings” are deceptive. God’s word is our standard.

It says GOD so loved the world so He gave....nothing about Jesus loving and coming, because there was no Jesus before Mary. He was the Word that became flesh. The Word that through whom the Father spoke all things into existence. The Word came to bring us to the Father, not to himself.

Just hearing her, it be not so muchHER, but the spirit behind her. It is just NOT right. To take a STEP BACK & to analogies. Then it will be clear. T H E F AL S E N E S S . That our freedom be NOT in the ' flesh ', but in Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit. Better a road LESS traveled than one that is teeming, where deception is prevalent.

this woman is a great singer but teaching is not her gift. we do not go to church to hear 50 minutes of emotion. we go there to hear God's Word clearly exposited and illuminated for application in our everyday lives. this was emotive twaddle. and what would america do if she didnt have the term 'season'?

hey! dude! I’m sorry if this offends you my comment, please forgive me in your heart if it does. The Holy Spirit is important. What would you like a sermon on? Isn’t the purpose of being a Christian aka a Jesus follower, having a personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit and God? And getting others to have a personal relationship with Jesus and lead them to Jesus so that they go to heaven where where God wants them and not hell? I like Melissa and Todd White also. LOVE to you.

You missed the whole point of the teaching. God created us for relationship with him, not for knowledge. Knowledge is extremely important and knowing everything He has done throughout the whole history of humankind shows us the kind of Father He is. But He created us for relationship. Melissa was just teaching on what Jesus taught on His entire ministry. Knowing our history as Christians from the OT to the NT is helpful for learning invaluable lessons on how to live and live with God but the bible is a closed book. Hear me, it's alive and active and will forever continually pierce down to the bone and marrow but not another word will ever be added to it. The Father has so much more to say. Every single day. He's constantly wanting to speak to you, guide you, and show you just how much He loves you. Expository preaching has it's place. But I would make the same argument Melissa does which is that relationship with the triune God is paramount. It's primary. It's first. What she spoke on was full of emotion because it's impossible to not have love for the One who's saved, loved, taught, and healed you every day of your life. Be careful to not cast judgement so quickly. People who've been saved in their soul and healed from certain death have all the reasons in the world to have emotion-filled teaching and worship. They're grateful.

@@MyFatherLoves Good luck having a relationship with someone you don't "know." Expository preaching is how you get to know the Creator, not emotional drivel and storytelling. Besides, she discredits herself by preaching to begin with. The bible clearly teaches against the very thing she does, so how do you expect to receive any blessing from what she is saying?
