1:03 they should extend the beta if they really want to test out crazy ideas or make another beta for that. Would be interesting to see that kind of crazier stuff

itd be nice if they made a second beta and tried to sort magic out completely after range and melee.

I think it may be time to make the adren ults not work off style and cater them to their specific style. 10% might be too much for one style but just right for another, plus they could add effects again to cater to their own style

I think Iban Staff might just need to be split into 3 hits or something (so each can roll for a crit). Although even with that, Magic badly needs something to do off sun/fsoa. It does zero damage outside of sun.

All I've really done is used my normal presets and normal bosses for a kill or two, and maybe one or two wild ideas I've had. Maybe takes an hour or so per update

Was looking forward to your thoughts on the new FSOA passive, any thoughts about it? This makes me want to start doing melee more

5 crits for a single chain hit is pretty weak, esp considering gconc and the buffed abil after it doesn't count

Someone post a video of the fsoa passive. Is it even useful at all?

@@RobertMorrowSports panic selling gear is never a good idea, and we still have over a month of updates before they want to implement the beta into the live game.

Overall I'm really happy with where the styles are sitting in this iteration of the beta, but I'd definitely like to see magic brought up a bit. Personally I'd like to see them change the new fsoa passive to giving 2% adren for every Crit. This way you lock the 10% adren gain under nami with the fsoa and in the future when better weapons come out they can still build off all styles being 8%

Adren needs nerfing, we need to move away from the get crit buff then spam eof specs meta. It's high damage but extremely boring.

Update 3 magic felt the best imo, and struck a good balance of eof+rotation to get the damage out. Hoping it can just go back to that point

I definitely disagree personally, the more adren and ability spam the better, makes combat way more fun for me lol. Otherwise you're just sitting there hitting basics for ages to get to the fun abilities.@@Quasarcool

@@Tzhaar100 getting crit buff and spamming claws/abs/dbow/ibans because you basically have infinite adren is not good for the long term health of the game. It is difficult to balance high damage no cooldown specs when adren which is ment to be the limiting factor on such things is again reaching basically infinite levels. It isn't interesting rotation wise either to just be able to hit highest damage button over and over again which is definitely the way rotations were going with the eofs mentioned above. High damage a good dopamine hit ngl. But nerfing adren allows them to do much more interesting things with passives set effects and make player have to think about rotation more than "do I have the adren? Yes hit spec. No then hit multi hit Ability pray for crits.

Be nice get a new magic spec or some type of upgrade foe the iban staff.

The 15s fury is interesting, but Melee having no 5.4s "core" basic is weird. I think fury can stay as is and maybe move havoc/Smash to 5.4s? See if that 2nd hand buffs passage gloves? Idk. That's my opinion on it at least.

Yeah the no 5.4 was odd, I guess at zam the burst nature didn't highlight it. It even felt odd at zam, or at least getting used to it

@CarguyRS did you have any feel for how these stacked against necromancy? I ended up going on hiatus because all that made sense was to use necromancy and it gets old. The other styles were like having a 1940s car in the garage. Yeah, when you're bored of driving your Lexus you can take it for spin, but then the shitty suspension, lack of power, lack of accessories and all that shows up and you remeber why you drive the Lexus daily. At least before I had 3 1940s cars to choose from so there was variation to keep it fresh, well 2 since I don't range, but still.

So when will it be updated to the game? 🤔

Getting 5 or 6 iban specs or 5-6 claws isnt balanced in my opinion and them nerfing adren gain from nami like abilities is much needed rebalance

Ful arrows are only 15% bonus, and expensive to use with grico for no real benefit (15% harder on the weak caroming hits is silly). This change makes it so arrow swapping for 2 gricos (like you would for hydrix grico with bolts) makes your next 4 basics or ults hit 42% harder. It's great for deadshot, great for SGB, great for zbow piercing zbow (Zamorak bow with this active hits just as hard as dark bow with Ful, for only 40 adren).

What's the point of ecb now that the Split Soul incantation exists? I was expecting it to be reworked in the Beta.

It can't be used with other styles, it is Necro only.

they're nerfing the wrong things, what they need to nerf is eof and instead they nerf tsunami and what you put in an eof instead of the eof itself even though its super obvious because people bring in 3 of them into a fight...smh giving eof charging would probably just fix the issue with high end being too strong
