Melbourne Airport Tullamarine - A walking Tour
A walk around Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport. The Airport has been undergoing a major extension and renovation over the last year or two and is ever changing. Currently the Airport has two Runways with a third being built soon.
Terminal 1 (Qantas), Terminal 2 (all international flights), Terminal 3 (Virgin Australia) and Terminal 4 (Jetstar Airways, Regional Express Airlines).
A INSTA360 X3 CAMERA was used mounted on a Back pack mount. I don't think this mount will be of much use indoors as there is way too much bounce in the video as I walk. Perhaps outdoors it will fare a lot better.

The Airport was fairly quiet as it was early afternoon and the evening rush had not begun as yet. Usually it gets really busy in the late afternoon and evening. Added to the fact it’s being extended so much the place now is huge so people are more scattered, giving the impression it’s quiet. Thanks for watching and take care. 😁👍

Thanks Lee. Video turned ok, apart from the excessive walking bounce which is a pain and it seems a lot of people having issues with. Yeah not long, 3 weeks.

What an amazing tour at the Melbourne airport. The airport's are always so busy. Very nice place my friend and of course I watched the full video. Great hanging out with you.

Lori Argus ceo of Melbourne airport seems to be the only person who doesn’t know Melbourne is already officially Australia’s biggest city . Given her role ...probably good to know !

Yeah for sure. Melbourne Airport will soon get even bigger with a 3rd runway.. As the city grows so will the Airport. 😃👍
Can you enter the terminal all the way to the gates without boarding pass?

From memory to get to the gates, you need a pass to get past security to all the lounges and duty free shops.
Can I know how far is T3 to T2? T1 to T2? Thanks

Not very far at all ranging from 100-200m apart depending on which Terminal building you are at. They are all connected pretty much. T1 - QANTAS Airways Domestic T2 -& T3 International and VIRGIN Airlines Departures and Arrivals on 2 seperate floors. T4 - Jetstar Australia, Rex Airlines & Link Airways. Hope that helps.

What happened to the restaurant that used to be to the right of the departure area in T2? It wasn't much good but it had windows overlooking the apron.

No idea. I haven't been there for over 2 years and a lot has changed. They have been renovating and adding to everything. But I remember that restaurant as well that had the huge windows. It's all blocked off now and the new International Departure gates start there.

lol it’s a bit of mish mash.. They designed and refurbished it in sections so it looks a little odd.. 😊
