Um the year is wrong. This was recorded on her THIS IS IT album which was released in 1976. Love her.

This was NOT in '74, this was 1976.

I think more than Barbara Strisand, and Mariah Carey. Personality I feel Melba's range is "SUPERIOR" because she can hit those notes whenever ! But what I love best is when she's held a note (forever) and then with in The same note no breath taken say's something. Best example "lean on me " old version !! Got to hear it to know what I'm talking about😊 😊

I wonder what her octaves are because she can really hit those notes!
