POWDER is the fourteenth song on Melanie's new album called "PORTALS (deluxe)" and it was officially released on April 5th 2023. The song talks about being in a toxic relationship with someone who is struggling with addiction. The other person knows that they need help, but they refuse to seek it. The powder is a metaphor for drugs, specifically cocaine. Blood falling out from your noise is typically something that happens after doing cocaine. She struggles to move away from this relationship.

Portals is a continuation of k-12 in a way, so there's a bunch of connections to k-12 because k-12 is getting a new movie I think, and portals is supposed to be the album for that.
