It can be any sorts, like an ending of an issue (e.g., relationships, toxic behaviour, old mindset, etc.), or escaping a catastrophe, like a stressful event or abandoning your old ways and moving on. It perfectly fits Melanie's VOID, as she's trying to escape who she was before and her indulgence towards her sorrows, as if she's facing it in order to end those ways.

This album has helped me to recognize I am allowed to change who I am even if others keep putting me in an old box that I have outgrown

I’m pretty sure that Pluto symbolises the desire for personal transformation and growth. Melanie is feeling stuck in her life as she says “Outdated show” and “expired routes”. When we hear this sound play, It usually means that Melanie (or Crybaby) is in trouble. She does not get worse, she evolves from a normal person to a queen of excellence and originality, I hope she continues to release albums as good as these,she deserves a trophy, a crown, and recognition.

I think her new era is her finally finding herself and accepting herself. She used to feel pressured to perform how others wanted her to, trying to fit an image that she felt was not her true self. This applies to her music and/or her personal life. Her rebirth represents a new authentic era. She now feels free to be herself.Thats just what i think‼️

We always love what Melanie makes for us but we must realize she does this from her heart, soul, experience, blood, sweat, and tears! I hope she knows (I’m confident she does) that we as fans and followers love her beautiful creations and songs not just for cool Melodies and instrumental openings but for the lyrics and the meanings they portray. This one song is currently fitting the stage I am in my life. Growing up, finally becoming an adult. It’s crazy, seeing a friend leaving from 10 years of friendship and getting new life’s, my relationship I had before getting broken and forgotten as I become a new person. A new girl, kind of like this new character Melanie has displayed. A awakening of some sort. I’m finally at that path where I understand who I am. And it’s refreshing after years of trauma and neglect. I’ve started meditating and get perspective of how others see life. How I can better understand it. Life and death. I’ve always been in my own little bubble, and it is very fascinating to get to know new things that change over time. Even though I think change is terrifying. Almost overstimulating at times. - I think this song represents that it’s okay. It’s okay to feel this way, to find your own voice and identity. Take your time to find who you are as a person. Gender and sexuality can wait, or you can make your own choices along the way. We’re all just different souls trapped in bodies. Meat and bones with a brain and a heart. Society makes us all live by a certain standard, unrealistic ones that should portray how you should act and look, like a Barbie doll. Women like me might feel sexualised and trapped by this corrupt society. Same with men. I like how Melanie touches on this issue, and almost read my mind completely.

This song is so goddamn similar to what happened to me in the past. How I started, how it changed, how I lost it, how I grew from it, and how I changed as a person and how hard it was to go through it being lonely and isolated because of online schooling, with nobody to talk to but me because I lost all my friends and had basically nobody but my family. I’m so happy I have a song I can relate to. The lines “show me who I am becoming” and “I’ll sit with my silence, fix all my conflict” really made me reflect to what I had to go through and really showed me who I matured to be and how literally in the second line I pointed out was exactly what I had to do in order to fix myself.

She's been impressive since her first album, and she's only continued to grow creatively since then. She always manages to surprise me with her songwriting skills. She deserves more mainstream respect.

My heart falls each time I listen to this song. It hits me so hard. I was such a people pleaser and gradually evolved in a phase wherein I don't care anymore and want to move on from people that don't need my energy, showing them who I really am and what I am capable of after battling with my inner demons. This song explains it face-purple-crying

Wait, Pluto, Nurses office, Dollhouse, Pity Party, and carousel are connected... So in Carousel, We are shown that Crybaby is trapped on a carousel ride, Meaning, The carousel Sound Plays when she is in danger. Now, in Nurses Office, If you listen closely, You can hear The Carousel Soundtrack in the background. Which explanes why she got drugged. Now, In Portals, She comes back to life in a different form. Now in Pluto, She gets trauma, And also hearing the carousel. It's Crybaby's Trauma, It's a Loop she cannot escape. Explaining Why in dollhouse, She pretends to be someone that she is not, not telling anyone how she feels. Now, in pity party, She is crying because she Is seeing people that are not there. (This is just a theory)

I can’t even begin to describe the amount of love I feel for Mel and her fans that love her. Mel is different and odd, which makes a lot of people kind of shy away, but that’s the beauty of her art, it’s unique and full of passion and honesty, and I would hate to see talent and love in art like this go to waste. I’m glad she has grown and is getting so much recognition, these beautiful songs should be shared with the world. I’m also so glad so has grown to be prideful in her work and to show off all side of her. An absolute icon of this century.

I love Melanie, but y’all sound stupid as hell saying rap has no meaning. Most rap songs, especially old rap, is about struggle and real world issues. Don’t bring down an entire genre just to compliment your favorite singer. It’s weird and also backhanded.

This song is so relatable on a number of levels. My favorite "planet" Pluto is currently in my sign, Aquarius. I can relate with shedding layers of who I once was. Part of the transformation, is letting go of the past. I can relate with having done a lot of trauma and Shadow work recently. So much transformation and change right now, in so many challenging and yet beautiful ways. Like a butterfly coming out of the cocoon.

Fr! I first listened to the the songs that were on the album then listened to the EP and i sit here wondering why they weren’t on the main album. They’re SO GOOD, especially milk of the siren. I deadass thought the contortionist was in the main album bc of how so many ppl were using the audio especially on tiktok.

melanie has helped me so much, her songs are so relatable it makes me feel better knowing more people are going through the same thing i am. it makes me feel like im not alone but im so sorry for whoever relates to her songs. i learned about melanie through gacha life 2018 i loved the song "dollhouse" "crybaby" "pity party" and there was a song i hate myself for but it was trending in gacha "where do babies come from" i didnt know it was unreleased and i feel terrible that i listened to it (bare in mind i was 7/8) but i didnt know who made those songs so i forgot about her for a couple of years. i downloaded tiktok when i was 10 and found her songs again, i felt so happy and ive been listening to her ever since. im hopefully going to the triology tour im so excited. my mum says im obsessed with melanie because i have so much merch of her, im always listening to her songs, i talk about her all the time and i keep talking to my mum about the triology tour. i want to give melanie a big hug

This is one of my fav songs from this album 😭

The first time i listened to this song was on a bus leading me to a more financially stable country. As an immigrant who had to estrange my whole family, my country, used my adolescence as time to do my shadow work alone, self diagnose and plan and learn how to get a different life...realising where i was headed and that i completely changed the trajectory of my life, i literally burst out crying during the rest of the ride with this song on repeat.

Her voice is magical, I still can't believe that little girl in The Voice who unfortunately didn't win now is the magnificent woman who writes, produces and signs this masterpieces, when I first started to listen to her I was at a really bad point in my life, she helped me go through that, she was with me when I was down and when I was back well again, and now I'm again going through a tough time and she's once again herer with me, thank u Mel, I will never be able to thank you enoguh for the magic u do on people's lifes and mine❤
