i watch Snowpiercer because of her. She carries whole the show

Melanie makes the show interesting, and different from other apocalyptic tv shows. Unlike every other protagonist with the “holier than thou” attitude, Mel actually struggles with the choices she makes and owns up to it without any justifications.

She's the best character, she's the one that had the best evolution and her acting is great. She's the Snowpiercer. Not Wilford. Not Latyon. Cavill is the only queen of the eternal engine.

You have no idea how many times I’ve rewatched this video. Melanie Cavill is basically carrying the whole show. Of course it doesn’t hurt that Jennifer Connelly is drop dead gorgeous and has brilliant acting.

Jesus i love Mel so much, i was so pissed of how they made her the bad guy. She wasnt perfect but bcs of her they survived for so long!! I hope she lives in the second season till the end

She's the ultimate femine and feminist character. Extremely bagasse, force of good, righteousness, sacrifice, and carries literally the weight of the world on her shoulders (S2). The wouldn't survive a day without her. I'm addicted to this character and the writers are just insanely amazing 😍😍😍😍😍

Let's admit :no one is perfect, including Melanie and everyone makes mistakes, including her. But she actually is the reason the people are still alive and the train goes on and on. She projected it, she has been leading the train and saving the day if there were any mistakes. And all this time everyone did not know it. What's more - she was leaving with thought that her daughter is dead because of her. I do not even imagine how she managed that and what she felt all these years, hiding all the pain and sorrow inside her.... She deserves to be happy...

I’ll be the first to admit that I was distracted by her in all the scenes like her presence in each scene was phenomenal. Also her in the black dress I’m just gonna say it she slayed my entire existence. Also like I understand she was like super cold but like dude without her there ain’t no way that the train would run she be the mechanic, engineer, boss, literally the master mind who ran the train for years then whatshisface be like I can run it yea no dudes a dumb detective.

I had really mixed feeling on her throughout the series but I’m really glad she teamed up with Layton. Liked her very much at the end. One of my favourite characters along with Josie and Till. Amazing edit!
