Mike was a nice man and may he rest in peace. But there is actually NONE good but God (Mark 10:18) for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Everything we do is tainted with sin. All our seemingly good and righteous deeds are but filthy rags before God (Isaiah 64:6) This is exactly why Jesus (aka God in the flesh) had to die for us. We must repent and believe / put our faith in His goodness alone-not our own goodness- to atone for our sins. Jesus is the only way to God / heaven. (John 14:6)

I still remember shipping Mike and Mel way back when. Just a child thing I remember doing. That was during the golden age of GMA which is a heck of a long time ago. 13-17 years-ish. Mike really served country the whole time. Hope he rests now wherever he is now.
