Just got diagnosed last week (FINALLY!) after years of pain and more. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!
It took me over 20 years to get a diagnosis and I worked in the medical field....
I also had my symptoms disappear while pregnant!
What was the name of the medication that she uses? Since there are several Biologics and treatments for it, I would like to know which one she was using so I could also look into it

Hi, while I cannot give the details of Mel's medication given the personal details of that. The group of medicines referred to are Anti-TNF biologic medication. I wish I could see a rheumatologist and start on medication.

About a quarter of people with axial SpA will have an episode of an eye condition called uveitis at some point in their lives. We have some more info here: nass.co.uk/about-as/what-is-as/your-eyes/

Yes! Absolutely. I would get recurrent uveitis/conjunctivitis in my 20s.

I have had a diagnosis letter very little info but it’s saying spondyloarthropathy is this the same I’m so confused. I get lower back pain. Also I have got sacroiliitis inflammation and I get pain in my shoulders arms hands and ribs but no swelling also taken years for my diagnosis any info would be really appreciated
Does methotrexate help this condition?
