    It's really sweet and genuine how Mel says, "you don't make these things alone" and then lists the cast. Very true showing of who Mel really is, the sober Mel.

    Mel is the kind of person I could sit down and talk to for hours and hours. He is so passionate about life. He doesn't deserve to be thrown away for his transgressions. I'm the chief of sinners right here. I hope to meet him one day and just thank him for the inspiration.

    Elevateedmind, Mel Gibson said racist things 10+ years ago. He apologized for them and got sober to better his life. No one is perfect. It's not like he has been saying racist things recently.

    100% Agree with Kathy Lee... This movie is phenomenal! Haven't cried so hard in a movie since... well, Braveheart. Andrew Garfield, Vince Vaughn and the entire cast is sensational. AND... Mel Gibson's directing... Outstanding. As Robert Downey Jr said... "Mel has hugged the cactus long enough, people." I hope The Academy welcomes Mel and this amazing film with open arms.

    When I was a kid around 4 or 5 I loved Mel Gibsons movies from there it sparked my love for war movies and got me into older movies such as legend of the falls and lots more great amazing person much love and respect Peace goes out

    What a nice Lady! And I'm so happy to see Mel lookin good and healthy. I want nothing but the best for him. I've been a fan since the day I started watching movies as a kid and I missed him so much the last couple of years. Hacksaw Ridge was a masterpiece and I also enjoyed Blood Father a lot!     The incident in the movie on Hacksaw Ridge was just one of many. His fellow soldiers saw him do this kind of stuff over and over to where (as shown in the movie) they would not go into battle until Desmond had finished his devotions.

    Desmond Doss convicted me as a Christian. What would I be willing to do to serve the Lord? I am so glad Mel made this film. I could have done without the naked guy. The film didn’t need nudity.
