I called out my ex to his face (told him he's emotionally and financially abusive) the constant belittling and chipping away at my personality, parenting 😢- it was a very quick so called romance but the emotional and financial abuse was palpable. I called it out with 5 months and I thank God it didn't go on any longer! I was a shell of myself in such a short time. I couldn't even fathom living like this for years! 😢

“Abusers won’t stop unless they are stopped.” I’m in the process of stopping mine- currently have criminal and civil protection orders, and an active felony stalking, harassment, restraining order violation, and witness intimidation case against my ex. If you believe in prayer, please prayerfully petition the source for my deliverance from this situation. It’s been too long (broke up with him two years ago). Currently displaced. I’m staying strong but it’s a lot to deal with. My heart goes out to anyone in this situation.

DV is life changing and it effects so many layers of your life and others around you. It took my mom 10 years to finally escape my Dad! She didn't have to live that way. My Mom had a whole family that loved her dearly and I had at least 2 crazy uncles that could have handled the situation. But I guess she had to do it on her own terms. I remember every broken bone, punch and bites -- that I witness and its been over 40 years ago almost like yesterday. It still haunts me.

As a fan of the Spice Girls, Mel B is a legend and a survivor of a abusive relationship with her ex. I only have the first edition to Mel B book Brutally Honest. All the Spice Girls are legendary UK Pop Goddesses and Phenomenal Divas. They were gorgeous then and are still gorgeous now. Mel B, your book Brutally Honest always got me heartbroken in tears, I never been in a relationship due to my autism and gyno phobia. No offense, but I have seen it in real life about abusive relationships and domestic violence in women but also men as well. I just got registered to become a me too movement committee. And it is popular around the celebrities and real life people around the US and the UK and around the whole planet Earth. It is wiser to love thyself and to build a relationship with u and build and grow yourself to survive life just to be safe and enjoy yourself and live life to the fullest. That's what I learned from your book Brutally Honest Mel B. U are a Goddess. Much love 💕💕 and hearts ❤️❤️❤️🥰 from Detroit Michigan USA.

I feel bad for Mel, the abuse she endured and not getting out of the situation she was in a lot sooner. I’ve heard her ex speak of his innocence several times and denying every negative thing he’s been accused of, not to mention his never-ending attempts to tarnish Mel’s reputation. He's a smooth talker to the point of my gut telling me that he spoke with forked tongue filled with pure BS; I didn’t believe his Avé Marias! He’s already been criminally charged for physical abuse towards his previous ex, so it speaks volumes about the wrongdoings he’s put Mel through. While I haven't read her book, but I will, ‘cause I'm intrigued by her story, on another note, when Tamron got to the part about Mel having earned $85 million during her career but had to move in with her mom when things got bad due to the “financial abuse” she was subjected to by her ex, I gagged 'cause, with having made that kind of money (and I would feel this way about anyone, whether they were a celebrity or not), it was hard to believe that she didn’t have the financial means to get a place for herself and her children when she decided to get out. I realize that people fall on hard times, I have had my share, but $85 million? Come on now! There's no way in hell I wouldn't have some kind of nest egg on the side somewhere just in case, even if things were good! Mel hasn’t come this far in her career to be viewed as a stupid woman, ‘cause she’s not, so it’s hard to believe that she was financially strapped, blackmail or not, to the point of not being able to provide four walls and a roof for herself and her children. In situations such as hers, one should be prepared, especially when you know and feel in your gut from the first [blackmail] threat he shoves your way, that the end could be imminent. She [supposedly] receives $25K a month for child support from Eddie Murphy for their daughter, Angel, and even with that kind of money, anyone can have a decent place in which to live, even if you have to rent. It doesn’t have to be a mansion! I’m not trying to be judgmental, just “Brutally Honest” in my feelings that $85 million, or even $25K a month, and you have to move in with your mom or anyone else for that matter, ‘cause you don’t have the financial means to support yourself or your children is mindboggling. I find it incredible ‘cause one can do a hell of a lot with that kind of money unless, that is, you've lived an irresponsible lifestyle that was way beyond your means. Nevertheless, if there’s anything to be found out about where her money went, and if she’s “Brutally Honest”, I guess I'll find out about it in her book, but I am baffled how anyone would allow someone to abuse them financially in that regard to the point of leaving them with nothing, especially, to reiterate, when you have children. Nevertheless, I hope she’s in a much better place in her life and, of course, I wish her all the best. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her personality and talent throughout her career over the years - and especially her accent! I was truly a Spice Girls, and still am, a Mel B fan. (P.S. I met her once and she was genuinely nice to me!) 😊

What puzzles me is, I would have thought if a person is in an abusive relationship it’s a bout control and power, but I would have thought if that was the case , you being abused was the one that was the earner, the cash cow , surely that came with the power, cut them off financially, move out temporarily until legally they are forced out hire security to protect you from further abuse, it’s like they not only take your self worth but also your brain. Im so glad you could go back to your mams to recover and heel I’m so sorry for any woman or man that suffer at the hands of domestic violence, I’m sure it’s a case of if you want to know me come live with it.🌟🙏🌟

It's always your own people... She's talking about her abuse, and the only thing you focus on are her looks. That's what you choose to focus on? She trying to help abuse ppl through her abusive story, and her face is the subject of your comment. That's kinda sad, my friend. You never know, maybe her cosmetic surgery is due to her abuse. Maybe it's a means of coping with it. You never know. Maybe he told her that she was ugly and it stuck with her self esteem, so she targets her looks. All I'm saying is be careful with focusing on her looks. We never know what the reason is for getting the surgery. Self belief truly takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I get what yall saying and I do hear the message, but that's not botox. That's a small face lift. She's in her 50s. Looks good though. Money well spent.

Salvation is the good news that Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead. Because of the disobedience of Adam, we were made sinners. Sin was passed down to us, and therefore, the judgment of that was to condemnation. But Jesus did not come to the world to condemn the world, He came so that we may have everlasting life. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the only way to God the Father. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, no man can go to heaven. Romans 10: 9 says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
